layden aint no slouch either.

 

Thibs + Layden are two real solid hires for Minnesota. I'm really excited to see what Thibs can do for Wiggins.

 

after the news today here is what i take from it:

- hope they keep milt newton (old GM) and ryan saunders (assistant coach) on to some capacity, from what it sounds like milt could stay in the front office in another role.

- talks that KG comes back next year (player option for 8 million), i hope he opts out and if he does come back takes a veteran discount, since he barely played half the games this year anyways.

- and anyone associated with the spurs since the early 2000's is gonna be a great asset as well, haha.

with a team that is going to be built around towns/wiggins and a coach like thibs, its pretty hard to not be optimistic about the future.

 

Hopin the Warriors can make some more history, LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR!!!

 

Looks like its gonna be Thibs to Minnesota (already happened, great hire), Scotty to Washington, JVG to Houston

 

I may be in the minority, but I'll miss Jeff Van Gundy's rants if he's back on the sidelines next season.

 

Phew, Minnesota is becoming a hell of an attractive place to play. Pretty neat.

On Jalen & Jacoby, Jalen said he thinks Steph should keep sitting until (more like if) the Rockets win. That way he doesn't get hurt worse and gets rest until the next series. I agree with that.

 

they could lose Klay too and still win by double digits
