It's honestly incredible to me how much misinformation has been spread about Iran and how almost none of it is ever questioned by the majority of American people. Like you said, they've obviously seen their share of human rights abuses but they're way less regressive than countries we regularly cozy up to (Saudi Arabia). This whole long-running concept of trying to figure out a way go to war with them is terrifying and has been for years.
