My bff has been dreaming of marriage since birth and she had always shown me these like 3+ carat rings she wanted and along comes her fiance who gives her a ring less than a carat and she is in love with it. When you find the right person all of that materialistic shit can go right out the window.

 

Two things I've told every girlfriend I've had: I don't do Valentine's Day and I don't do jewelry. I'm a keeper.


Now, to be fair, if my future fiancé reeeeaaalllllyyy wants a ring I guess I'll do it but I'd prefer to do like a tattoo or something of that nature.

It sucks when you're in a relationship and it never seems like you can do enough or be there enough for the other person. Then, in turn, it feels like you don't have enough time to do everything you want to do. It's a viscous circle.

It was an excellent show and I'm glad I went to it

 

I have only seen one diamond ring that I really liked, and it's my sister's engagement ring. I'm not big on rings. They feel clunky between my fingers and I am forever hitting them against walls on accident. Plus blood diamonds and all. I'd rather spend the money towards a bomb honeymoon or something fun.

I love Valentine's day tho. I don't need a whole production around it, but none of my exes have ever done anything for it despite knowing it's my 2nd favorite holiday so they all suck.
