I've spent my evening listening to Billy Talent

 

Cast off the crutch that kills the pain

Their first two albums are really fun still. Not that I dislike them more recently but yeah.

 

I haven't listened to them in a few years, but I always remember jamming a few songs from each throughout high school.

The whole thing flows so well. Even the Nirvana cover works.

 

I wasn't expecting to like Sturgill Simpson, but he's definitely very good.

 

This song totally holds up

 

Billy Talent's first two records are really nostalgic for me. I haven't listened to them in years so I have no idea if I still like them.

 

Yeah, I agree, this is more than likely their best song when it comes down to it

 

I just got out of a two hour corporate meeting, and I'm fighting a headache and I feel really... weird. Like a little shaky and anxious. No idea why.

I had so many people come into my restaurant today and tell me 10 minutes was too long to wait for their food because they're on a 30 minute lunch break. This isnt a fast food place? All the food is made to order so what are you honestly expecting?

 

I'm so confused. My dr's last name is Michas and I pronounce it mycuss but this recording confirming my appointment said mitchus. Surely I haven't been calling my dr the wrong name all these years?

 

People like this are the bane of my existence.

 

Also if you only get 30 minutes for lunch quit your job

Or don't, you know, it might be a good job or maybe you need the money. Still, that sucks.

 

I thought most jobs only got 30/most US states law is only 30.

 

For an 8 hour day I think you get an hour. Or at least all my full time jobs have been an hour

yeah it varies by state but 30 minutes is pretty standard

 

I don't take my lunch ever since I hardly ever see my boss. Sometimes he emails me and says I really need to take my lunches but I don't and he keeps paying me for it so that's cool.

 

I take a 30 so I can leave 30 minutes earlier. Hashtag fight the system.

 

At my new job, everyone in the office essentially eat lunch at their desks.

 

Ugh that's the worst. I usually take an hour and a group of us eat together every day in one of the conference rooms.

 

Considering that including myself, there's only FOUR PEOPLE and the other three are two managers and the actual owner, it doesn't work out.

 

I feel like I need my lunch break as much for my sanity and to get away from work as much as for the actual food part
