I wish they would get rid of Lanas accent. I mean her return was the chance to do it, but they could always do the same thing they did with Kofi and just let it slip and continue with the show like that

They fucked up Bayley's title reign by first having her be fine with beating Charlotte via cheating. And then beating Charlotte's PPV streak on some C-level PPV. They had the perfect opportunity for Bayley to hand the title back like Jericho did after his HHH thing, then lose at Fastlane via Nia interference, and then win at WM in a big moment. Instead it was all a wet fart, and Bayley had to cut "Ive loved WWE since i was a kid" promos for 2 months.

Whereas Sami can take anything and get it over; and because he's never won anything big, they havent had a chance to ruin him yet. But his character is better overall, so, I feel like they would have a harder time sending him as low as they've sent Bayley

 

I feel like they are just waiting for enough time to pass to do the daniel Bryan storyline with Sami

 

I don't hate Titus as a manager.

 

Also, I love him on commentary and wouldn't mind him replacing Otunga

 

Titus is perfect in the role he's in right now, I'm loving the Titus Brand storyline

 

Both him and Neville, they just needed that character tweak to hit their promo spots. Titus as a pure heel or face is usually bad. And Neville as a face was blah. Make them both full of themselves though...

Just keep Titus out of the ring. He's been so sloppy lately

 

According to Pwinsider (via squaredcirclesirens.com), the Mae Young Classic will feature a mix of currently signed NXT talents along with independent names. NXT talents such as Bianca Blair, Lacey Evans, Taynara Melo, Sarah Logan, Kimber Lee, Julia Ho, Victoria Gonzalez, Mary-Kate, Danielle Kamela, and Zhao Xia have all been rumored for the tournament. They would join recently signed talents such as Nixon Newell, Evie, Demi Bennett, Kairi Hojo, and Thea Trinidad in the tournament. Independent performers Marti Belle and Mia Yim are also rumored to participate.

 

I think it's pretty safe to assume that pretty much every one with less TV time than Lacey Evans (and including her) will be in it. I'm guessing Kairi will win

 

Nixon Newell 33

 

I'm actually a bit bummed about some of the people included on the list. It doesn't feel like they are bringing together the best in the world. It's like they are gathering together all of their green workers and having them job to a handful of vets. I guess they need their exposure at some point, but it just feels like they could do so much more. Interested to see if Storm or Lufisto end up in there. Surprised this list didn't include any of their favorite jobbers (Deonna, Santanna, Ellering, etc)

 

I really hope LeRae is in the tourney

 

If you look back at the CWC, there's definitely 10 of the 32 who are basically that jobber role you said; they just werent WWE jobbers. Maluta, Daivari, Aichner, and Ciampa are the only guys I though would have advanced in different matchups. And of course, Mustafa Ali was an alternate who happened to get in, and look where he is now.

Im betting they also learned from Ibushi/Metalik/etc that if they have people that catch fire, they want to be able to sign them and build on it. Id actually bet Deonna is in it for taht reason; have her win an upset in Round 1 and see if she builds

 

Man, I do not want Nakamura to win the briefcase. Or like, anything. I know he did amazing things in Japan, but he has done nothing for me for a long time. I don't want the belt, briefcase, or otherwise on someone that's only going to go full speed once or twice a year. There's so much talent out there that's putting on good stuff every week, every house show.

 

I don't think Nakamura wins the briefcase, but I don't think its far fetched to think he'll be champion before Wrestlemania. They've positioned him as one of Smackdown's top stars right off the bat, and it doesn't seem like they'll move away from that. He really just needs one performance at this point to get everyone on board.

 

KO or Corbin seem the most likely

 

I think if Nak gets the push he can put on some really great and unique matches still. He is just picking his battles right now. Which is smart.

 

But since he's come to WWE he's only picked like one battle

 

He's had like 4 matches lol

 

I mean since NXT

 

I hate that they changed his entrance

 

His roode matches were solid.

 

Latest Being the Elite is really cool. Behind the scenes stuff with Kenny and YB morning of, right before, and right after his match with Okada (and also stuff with Nick's stuff getting stolen). Cool moment right after the rematch with the Young Bucks showing Kenny gifs on Twitter and him critiquing himself.
