Depends if he has that drop off where pitchers figure him out, or if he's truly an elite player.

This weekend in SF is another example of why the Twins are in first but have a bad run differential lol.

Also I'm on the Kyle Wright bandwagon for no 1 pick but would be okay with Greene. The McKay late hype is out of nowhere though. Sounds like money is a big reason why Greene won't go first overall.

 

Kyle Wright and Greene make too much sense, which is why they're gonna take McKay. The money thing IMO is because Greene desperately wants the reds to pass on him to go to SD because MN and them are his preferred packed and the reds suck.

 

Judge's patience and not changing his approach no matter what sure looks to me like a sustainable player. He destroys Baltimore and they got the majority of those games out of the way so he can't beat up on them much more though lol.

All star sidenote, Kris Bryant I can understand, but who in the fuck is voting for Jason Heyward?!

But I'd get if like Baez or Schwarber or Rizzo were getting starting votes, they strike me as much more of fan favorites. Heyward is better than last year but still pretty bad lol

 

Most fans and teams basically want you vote the equivalent of a straight party ticket. Cubs are the team of the moment and their fan base is really energized at the moment. It's no different than the Royals a couple years ago. Basically fan vote to choose the best players is stupid.

 

For the most part it's good though. Like Cozart is leading, and I'm good with that. I think every other position, while debates can be had, are deserving. And then Heyward sticks out like the sorest thumb ever lol

Now I'm seeing twins may consider Royce Lewis with 1, which I think is plausible but he's kind of a boras guy so probably not

I pains me to hear people trash Harold Renoylds. I learned so much from him on baseball tonight. Honestly I think he's better suited to be a coach than an analyst.
