can't believe "Bones" gets no mentions as a top track of theirs, far and away my favorite.

A lot of my favorite Killers songs are on the second half of Hot Fuss tbh, which I know most people say is significantly weaker. I really love the stretch from All These Things That I've Done to Believe Me Natalie in particular. Mr. Brightside is also one of my least favorites on the record, but I honestly think it's one of those few songs where hearing it so much seemingly everywhere kinda spoiled it for me. Oh, and Somebody Told Me is imo the worst song on the album and that's on the first half too, so I guess I just think that album is more evenly balanced than most do lol.

there was a period of a few years where I couldn't listen to Somebody Told Me because I heard it like 300 times, same thing happened with Stacy's Mom but that's a significantly worse song

All These Things That I've Done is their best song,it's basically a U2 song, case in point

I love All These Things That I've Done but I don't think I've ever heard a U2 song I really like. They're fine, I'd just never choose to listen to them.

Maybe I should finally check out one of their records

Always thought Sam's Town was like half a perfect record. It's spotty as hell and I probably only like 5 or 6 songs on it, but those songs are fucking excellent.

I don't know if this is unpopular but I just realized that in my brain I don't consider Carly Rae Jepsen a pop star
wait let me explain, I think pop star means selling out arenas and there's only like a dozen or so pop stars, so someone like Carly or Kesha or Charli XCX who I love I just consider a pop singer but I don't know if that makes sense

I was watching Katy Perry's live stream (which is surprisingly interesting tbh) and she referred to herself as a popstar and it dawned on me how weird it would be to say that's your job.

I spend a lot of time thinking of how weird it must be for people to say they're Youtube/Vine stars and how hard it must be to explain that to their parents

For the One Love Manchester show I thought it was odd that Katy Perry would be there and instantly pictured her as the old person of the group trying to be the "cool aunt" type of the group and I felt sad for her.

Note: this was before I learned that Coldplay, Pharrell and other "older" artists would be there.

Yeah, but I feel like she's been around a lot longer than the others so it's not so much a difference in age but how long they've been in the "spotlight".

At least for me though and not most because I never even heard the names Bieber, Cyrus or Grande until like 2 years ago where most have heard them probably just as long as Perry.
