Guess not. I don't like ending on a montage but I thought Anthem was a very cool game to end on.

 

Wait, nothing? Let down.

 

Anthem looks meh

 

Anthem looks cool, but feels like Destiny which I'm not really into.

Some indie games looked awesome, but nothing amazing from the conference.

 

Thought that was an 8/10 on paper. Less so on execution. I won't be getting an X. Happy with my S and PC for the games shown.

 

Did they forget their "little Halo thing" or however they phrased it? Lol

 

Hooooooly shit. That was a great conference. Not gonna get a XB1 X anytime soon anyways so the price doesn't bother me.

Those rapid fire game announcements were fantastic.

Anthem, Forza 7, Sea of Thieves, fucking Metro Exodus, Ori, Cuphead release date etc.

 

Anthem, Metro, Crackdown, Ori, Assassin's Creed were the highlights. Everything else, eh, not crazy about it. And even those games, only two are exclusives.

 

Keighley is going to have Spencer on to unbox the xxxXboneXxxx in a bit.

Wait is Tocoma a timed Xbox exclusive? Cuz I'm not cool with that .

 

I'm already more interested in Anthem than I ever have been in Destiny.

 

Crackdown looked lame for how much shadow has been surrounding it, and I say that a a HUGE og Crackdown fan.

 

Also that one indie game with Bladerunner vibes looked dope.

 

The X will be around €550 in Europe. Not a good look.

 

I don't have an Xbox one at all, so I might grab an X. Releasing in November allows me to save money and buy it also, haha.

 

I don't care about Crackdown 3 but I'm glad it's finally coming out.

Even the games I didn't care about didn't feel like they dragged or bothered me. Really happy overall with how this was done, especially after EA.

 

Yeah I really want to play that.

 

I have to give them points for focusing on the games, however at the same time I have to admit that their linguistic gymnastics about what was exclusive or not is kind of shady. Like, even now watching Keighley and his panel talk it over, they're having trouble recalling what was what in terms of exclusivity. Not good.

 

Yeah I was excited for Crackdown but that gameplay looked super uninspiring.

 

I give them some extra points for Dragonball Z too.

 

Nvm they hit 499 which isn't as bad. £450 in the UK.

 

Keighley has Epic on talking about Fortnite, have to say the game looks like it will be fun.

 

Was an okay conference. A few exclusives Im excited for.
