I need lulls since I'm so slow to listen to everything lol

 

I'm just always looking for new stuff so even during 'lulls' I'm just finding stuff from months even years ago that I missed out on

 

Did these CDs come out in April 2016 or April 1976 though?

Same. There's tons of stuff I've never listened too.

 

I really want to re-launch my old music blog. Like, properly. And expand it to news and reviews about gaming and movies as well. I really just enjoy running and maintaining blogs. I mean I do it for money too, but it's my job and it's very part time and not a topic that i'm necessarily interested in. I want to do it with stuff I enjoy too. I'm not sure if it will ever be 'BIG', but it was doing great for a couple of years.

Thing is though all I can really do is post news. I don't really write articles or reviews. I'm awful at that. When I was even slightly successful with it, I had a dozen people writing reviews/articles/posting photo galleries. I'm contemplating properly working on it again because it's already up. If anyone is interested in contributing any kind of article be it something like "Why I'm looking forward to this.." "My top 5 <genre> <medium>" or proper reviews, just let me know. I am kind of fed up of giving up on things but I know if I get this going I can't just post "Look this thing is going to be released" and never have actual reviews/articles. But I have to concede I'm an awful writer, so I would love for a couple of people to be on board.

I still need to figure some things out but just because my almost-gaming-blog didn't work out last year doesn't mean I can't go back to my old site and expand on it.

I'm rambling now but, I know what I enjoy doing and I don't think I'm going to be happy by letting myself not work on things because other people have let me down.

 

I'm still not sure how I'm supposed to use Twitter...

There should be a registry for bigots which gets run as part of routine background checks.

 

I never post but it's great for getting quick news and sports updates.

 

It's pretty much a 'microblogging' social network. Tweets you make are like 'short thoughts'. But it's used for marketing and promotion as well. So it's a really good way to get your name out there.

For example, blogs have their feeds on there. You follow accounts of companies/brands/blogs/people you like to keep up with the latest news and whatever they're thinking. You choose whether you want to engage in conversation with them or not. Sometimes you get replies, sometimes you don't.

You also can get customer support as well from many companies since they have separate accounts just for help. And there's some companies that do giveaways simply by retweets + follows. I could, really, go on, you know. It's my favorite thing.

 

Twitter is the best.

 

I've been off Twitter for the better part of 3 years, but as I'm trying to grow my photography and such, I've been debating getting back on. Especially doing live show photos, it seems like the best way to reach out to bands, as well as tag them in photos I take of them. I just haven't decided if it's worth it or not yet.

 

I barely use it. But it's great for news.

 

Twitter is fine. This whole weird post-humor thing it's creating I'm not as sure about

 

I use Twitter a lot for keeping in contact with friends who are in other countries

I just have a band twitter. We JUST made it, and I'm just figuring it out. It seems okay as far as connecting you with people you don't know? Cause it seems like you could use Facebook for everything else...

 

My laptop is smoking and I used electrical tape on the wire that looked stripped and it's still smoking. I'm not sure what to do next. I also burnt myself.

actually Twitter is much easier to reach out to people. Facebook has become very limited the past couple of years. Even the use of the hashtag on Twitter is a big deal. Follow bands and record labels and blogs you like. Follow people you know personally.

 

Facebook is a ghost land of your parents posting recipe videos, memes about their pets, and talking about how they don't like the Kardashians.
