For the record, pepperoni certainly isn't the worst pizza topping out there but it also isn't the best either. I have a weird favorite topping combo, that being sausage and mushroom, so I shouldn't throw stones I suppose. Hard to beat a regular ol' plain, though.

 

I mean, my real favorite toppings are Buffalo Chicken, and a pizza joint around here does a chipotle chicken that's delicious....but I think at that point you're beyond just pizza and have entered a different realm of food. Pepperoni is def my favorite of the 'simple' or usual toppings.

 

Green peppers are the worst pizza topping don't @ me

Sounds like they're looking for security. They can be made to understand that coal isn't coming back, but that a robust welfare state will provide them the security they need to live a life with dignity.

Unfortunately i think the attitude we routinely hear from those people says the opposite--as in they don't want to be made to understand that, and will outright reject government help (right up until they actually get it, of course)

Nothing like waking up and seeing two new pages of the politics forum, getting excited that something interesting happened, then reading about pizza.
