    I'll be checking out:

    Plantarium
Gov't Mule - Revolution Come... Revolution Go
Cigarettes After Sex - Cigarettes After Sex
The Birthday Massacre - Under Your Spell

    But most importantly.

Phoenix - Ti Amo (which I'm stoked for)
London Grammar - Truth Is a Beautiful Thing (been looking forward to this for way too long!)

    The rivalry is back on

London Grammar and Phoenix are two of my most anticipated of the year so that's all I need.

Strong rec for London Grammar if you like vocally driven music with an unworldly singer (ie. Adele).

I'll also listen to Sufjan, Anathema, Allie X, SZA, Rise Against, Big Thief, Cigarettes After Sex, All We Are, and Katy Perry

Phoenix was a nice listen this morning. Vic Mensa's EP was a nice surprise as well. Rancid and Chief Keef are queued up.

Just heard the CbK song with Devin Townsend. What an odd feature but the song is really good! It's called Absolute.

Super into the new Allie X and Big Thief albums. Probably will give the Ani DiFranco record a listen over the weekend.

  22. I have a friend who put out an incredible acoustic EP yesterday. (And I think today's her birthday, too! haha)

Anyways, her songs are fantastic and her singing is utterly gorgeous -- very Hayley Williams-esque, but placed into a more folky, honest-confessional context.

Rise Against finally put out a GREAT album..it's been years since I've been able to listen to an album of theirs straight through and enjoy it. Everyone should check it out. Glad they changed up producers too.

That was my first reaction haha. I'm not sure if the recorded version is on YouTube yet but I heard it on Spotify this morning under "release radar" or whatever it's called. It's a Comeback Kid song with elements of DTP in it. It just takes the track to a whole new level!

    Edit: It's on YouTube:

Also, they signed with Nuclear Blast so that's yet ANOTHER blow for Victory. It's funny, I was working with their Victory publicist for an interview and then talks just completely stopped. Now I know why haha
