So say the votes end up such that neither SNP + Labour or Conservative total is enough for a majority.

Is there any scenario where the Liberal Democrats can talk the Conservatives to join their collation (under a Lib Dem PM) as an alternative to the Liberal Democrats joining the Labour collation (under a Labour PM)?

 

Nope. The Lib Dems and Tories have completely opposing views on Brexit so I can't see any coalition happening between them this time around. But the Lib Dems have broken promises before, so who knows. If they did go into coalition together, you'd still have a Tory PM tho because the Tories are gonna have way more seats than the Lib Dems.
