Id much rather have the centrist liberal in there that I have a chance of getting to agree with me than a Republican who definitely won't. ha I want to help more people also. the way to help more people is not to help less people right?

I don't want a centrist personally, but I live in texas and I'd much rather have a more centrist candidate (O'rourke) than ted fucking cruz. I understand wanting to build a left-wing coalition but some districts are currently un-winnable by leftists and centrists are even having a difficult time to even get a foothold. I think if we get some further left candidates in more left districts then they can start to show how that could work and that would spread throughout the party or at least throughout the electorate. I don't blame you or anybody for wanting more for people I just think the all or nothing approach is worse.
