I think calling the +44 album complete garbage is a bit much. There are far worse things that you can listen to.

 

I'm definitely a fan of it and wish we could have gotten a follow-up. Mark really killed it with vocals/lyrics

 

The +44 album is probably my fourth favorite blink related album after self titled, Dude Ranch and Enema

 

Mark nailed that whole album. Calling it garbage is almost like an insult.

 

It's supposed to be an insult. Haha. But really, it's not a great album. There's some greatness on it though.

 

There's goodness and some cool moments that I wish there were more of, but it's pretty straightforward for the most part. Enjoyable, not trash, but not great

 

It's no We Don't Need to Whisper, that's for sure.

 

It's overall average with some very nice peaks. Lillian, Weatherman and Chapter XIII are fucking amazing songs.

Edit: And Little Death. Good shit.

He is truly insufferable.

 

If you're an interviewer and you ask a question and the subject responds "that's a tricky question" and you change the subject with the next question ... you're bad at your job and why would you put that in print for everyone to see?

 

Also way too much +44 hate in here. That album holds up better than a good majority of Blink songs and is definitely better than those AVA albums.

 

Damn, Tom cannot catch a break with you.

 

I'm really happy for Tom. Seems like he's got a very positive outlook on life right now.

 

Totally. Lycanthrope, When Your Heart.., Cliffdiving, Baby, Come On and Little Death are some of my favourite Mark songs. That interview is also painful, I dislike Kerrang! over here as well, it's the UK's AP.

 

He's the 40 year old version of the fedora wearing chin strap sporting "libertarian" that is three credits shy of graduating for five years in a row trying to mansplain whatever they read on InfoWars that morning. It's cute when you're 8 and telling stories around a camp fire, this shit is stupid on a whole new level. The lack of critical thought or one ounce of logical rigor passed being funny years ago now. It's just embarrassing at this point.

 

Hahaha, I still like Tom and continue to support him. Don't think he deserves as much criticism as he gets now. Music-wise, I would like for him to take at least a year or two off (except touring, really wanting an AVA 10 Year your). As for his other endeavors, i really respect him, As I would if it were anyone else, for following his dreams, achieving his goals and doing what makes him happy regardless of what others say or think. (Could you imagine if he had listened to others during the formation of blink?!) There's no denying that he's a hard worker and passionate about what he does, and that to me is whats important.

 

100% agree. I'd be interested to know if the "tricky" part is him speaking to them through lawyers.

 

I reckon it is. Probably speaks to them through their respective lawyers and it's probably only to negotiate how much money he's going to get from blink's future.

 

So do you guys think Tom meets these people and they just fuck with him but he takes it deadly serious and acts like he just blew the lid off everything, or do you think he just straight up makes this shit up?

You think? I wasn't much a fan of it bar a couple of songs. I just don't think Mark connects with me as a vocalist much.

 

I actually can't believe blink is sold and promoted so much on the guys personalities but they're all actually really annoying.

I also think the +44 album was boring.

 

I always loved the +44 album. If I'm in the mood to listen to blink's ST I generally throw +44 on after.

 

(+44)'s is an amazing album that sounds fresh even in 2016.

 

Well, +44 album is amazing sometimes, and sometimes these... these "melodies" are quite painful to listen to. IMO. I mean, WYHSB intro melody is laughable, but the chorus is really great. Same with some other songs there.
