These guys were terrible and got several more years worth of chances. Kaepernick throws for 300 yards and runs for almost 100 more against a defense that was arguably better than the one that allowed Dilfer to be that bad and no one takes a flyer out on that.

He also stayed in the game till the very end of the 2013 NFCCG against that monstrous Seahawks defense and damn near won it for the 49ers.

We're not saying that he isn't better than those two QB's. Just making the point that not all SB QB's are good QB's. I see your point though, don't get me wrong.

I was definitely rooting for Seattle in that one and am glad they won because I got to see my grandmother's live reaction to Richard Sherman

But yeah they were doing great in that game

    Fuckin Crabtree

In your defense, I did just jump on the next available point hahaha. But yeah, not all SB QBs are good but they're all SB QBs. If you start in a SB, you have a career for the next year or so. Because even if you don't have what it takes, you KNOW what it takes, and that's the kind of thing that can say, help lead Brock Osweiler to the playoffs while Peyton Manning remembers how to differentiate between "player" and "ground".

Either way we can all agree Kaep is better than 75% of current backup QB's

Exactly. When Buffalo was considering dumping Taylor, I assumed he'd go to Denver and win a SB.

Idk Denver to me just makes too much sense, the fact they haven't even brought him in for a workout is crazy

Must not want to dump Chad Kelly

I could see him getting a job quick once the season starts and someone goes down for the year.

Considering Elway's beliefs he must have taken the anthem protests personally I guess idk

He's a horseface POS, this is true. What about Indy or TN even? I doubt they even have decent backups

TEN has Matt Cassell and Kaepernick would definitely be an upgrade

IND has Scott Tolzien, so same boat as TEN

Idk if either would sign him but it doesn't seem that crazy, Titans are selling the team anyway

Arizona, Pittsburgh, New York Giants, Chargers, Jacksonville. All should've gone after him.

Kaep is probably just as good if not better than Palmer at this point

  21. The Chargers I thought would have been the case scenario for him.

Basically, any team that has a franchise QB on their way out but aren't bad enough to secure a top five pick needs Kaepernick. Jacksonville would be a great fit if Marrone/Coughlin/Caldwell weren't the type of people they are.

La'El Collins moving to right tackle. My man.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Arizona should've jumped at the chance to sign him. Don't understand why they haven't.

You definitely have to change your scheme to use Kaepernick. A lot of guys who are eyeing rookies in 2018 that do play in a somewhat related system, probably don't want to change too much for Kaep when they see greater long term potential in a rookie who doesn't rely so heavily on motion concepts.

That said, the Jags and Nate Hackett love bootleg ass, rollout ass, receivers running routes behind the line of scrimmage ass, play action shit. They could also benefit heavily from Kaep's legs distracting defenses from Fournette - Kaep has way better mobility than Bortles to add variety to an offense that should be glad to run 35-40 times and stay in control of a game for once.

The only reason they haven't signed Kaep is because part of them still likes Bortles. That's the dangerous side of those coaches.

Pleaaaaase don't be stubborn... draft somebody better, don't get complacent for the worst throwing motion and footwork in NFL football, even if ARob jump balls his way out of a few more INTs this year.
