A new leg of the Mastodon/EODM/Russian Circles tour (an ATL date was officially announced for October recently)
Full Gojira/Code Orange U.S. tour
Suicidal Tendencies/Power Trip
Halestorm/In This Moment/New Years Day
5FDP/Steel Panther/Ded (idk it doesn't feel far off imo)
Ozzy/Manson/Fozzy
Stone Sour/Highly Suspect/Nothing More
OM&M/Beartooth/some band not on the festival(s)

 

Saw a date pop up for La Dispute at The Pyramid Scheme in Grand Rapids on August 3rd. Not sure if this will be part of a larger tour, but there's a potential more dates will be announced.

 

I don't think they've toured in a while. Was the last U.S. tour with Thrice?

 

Yeah I believe so. They just played Bled Fest but they've been relatively inactive.

 

Maybe this will be a show to test new material out. I feel like they've been writing

I saw them earlier in the year and they were super fun live and I am loving the new album. Guess that makes me weird but I am okay with it haha

 

To be fair after repeated listens, I didn't enjoy the new Diet Cig album at all because it's a lyrically driven album that I couldn't relate to, but I'd definitely see them live if they came through Chicago again.

Just hoping for a Columbus date at least. Although now that I live in Lakewood it's easy to get everywhere. Detroit, Pittsburgh and Columbus are all exactly 2 hours haha

I would definitely make the drive for ManOrch/TJ. Hopefully the opener is solid too

 

Collaborative album and tour? Could be interesting.

 

Yeah I'm not missing MO headline. I've only seen them when they opened for Brand New in 2015. Hoping Columbus too

 

I drove to Buffalo for the B&C/KDev tour and it was definitely worth it. Otherwise I've only seen them open for BN and play Riot Fest

 

weird, i think its the opposite of a lyrically driven record, i think it's a fun mindless catchy pop punk record that didn't quite hit the marks in good songs

 

do you expect another opener? i don't

 

There is one, I don't think it will be announced right away though

 

Perhaps the Agora? That would be more on the size level of The Filimore in Detroit.

I'm guessing though they just roll through Columbus. Ugh.
