I'd prefer HISALP if it had some good lyrics, but on that song and the song California the lyrics are absolutely abysmal, a real low for the band.

Idk, based on how bad their lyrics are normally, I'd say the lyrics on HISALP are actually a high for the band.

It feels like the moon
Is spinning off into outer space without you
This room is such a lonely place without you

This part is awful, I just feel that for such a heartfelt song, the lyrics really miss their mark.

All of the song California is bad, I cannot believe they allowed that song on an album. It's unlistenable.

 

California is easily one of the best songs on the album.

Those two matchups are tough ones on Day 4.

 

I legit don't get why people hate it, haha. I like that it's something different.

 

I've said it before, I think I'm biased because it makes me yearn for when I lived in California. I'm one of the few people who probably "felt something" when hearing that song.

 

honestly, it's going to be hard for me to vote on either of those songs

 

"California" is far from the most offensive thing on the album.

 

Misery V San Diego is a brutal one too

 

it isn't offensive. it's just dumb. but i already hate most songs that are about California and have "here's to you!" type of lyrics, so this one was a dud to me from the start.

 

That's why they hate it haha

Spending time inside together

Is quite possibly the cringiest thing they've ever said on record. I just don't understand what they were thinking!

 

This is blink-182 so it's definitely not the cringiest thing they've said on record

 

That one really sucks. I think those are both top tier Blink w Matt songs

It's the false earnestness of it that gets me. It's an a dreadful lyric and sung with such sincerity.

Crazy, just like the NBA playoffs.

I know theres a lot of love for Left Alone, but I am surprised by the little love of Long Lost Feeling.

 

Yes I expected LA and LLF to be much more divided. And I have to admit I love the love Good Old Days is getting
