Maybe I missed it, but did they say anything about how you'll connect to the Homepod. Wondering if it just syncs if you're on the same wireless network? Only using airplay? Bluetooth capable?

 

AirPlay because it uses the new AirPlay 2.

There's a new Smart color invert options in iOS 11 that inverts colors except for images and other things like that. It look kinda like a dark mode, but there are still some things that are color inverted but shouldn't be if it's really a dark mode.

 

Possibly just a bug? I hope so. Been waiting on a dark mode since forever really. If it was meant to be some sort of dark mode, they probably would have mentioned it though.

 

I am sooooo pumped for the AW combined workouts now.

Yeah I mean, it is the first beta. It looks cool in some places, but in other places it's ugly.

 

The buttons at the bottom of the Control Center are customizable. You have a variety of options to choose from. I don't know about Homekit though, because I don't have any Homekit accessory.

By the way, Person to person Apple Pay is only available in the US :(

Ah, maybe i had read something wrong. i thought they were announcing it now for a fall release. especially interested because my phone plan will be up for an upgrade in august.

 

we got a sonos play 1 for christmas and i think it's sound quality is incredible. perfect for our small apartment. but now i wish we didn't just get it because the only thing that ever kept me from getting a echo or google thingy was that the speakers sucked and i don't have THAT MANY questions i need answered from a robot.

i guess this will just be motivation to get a home with more than one room haha.

I wonder how serious audio production will work on that thing. Logic Pro is easily the best software Apple makes (imo). Guess it will be a lot external audio stuff with it thru thunderbolt 3.

Oh and with iOS 11, I wonder how high the numbers will go? Will be talking about iOS 27 at some point? Numbering stuff gets so silly.
