If you watched you'd agree that Parnell just did a bad job though. All 3 games I've rewatched so far, he stood out as honestly the biggest liability on the offense. Like, he got us into more bad situations than even Bortles.

Seahawks, Kaepernick aren’t apart on money

 

Man, I really wonder why Kaepernick isn't signed. So hard to figure out. I'm just baffled. So many possibilities.

 

I do genuinely believe that's why Carroll didn't sign him though. If they're having an issue with Wilson controlling that team, the last thing they need is to bring in someone like Kaepernick, who can definitely take over that team.

 

Considering the deal Kaep signed in San Fran in the first place, Id find it hard to argue he's pushing for a deal that isnt team friendly.

 

I can see that, though thats as much a reason to bring Kaep in because if Russ folds, they could have Kaep into the future.

Texans still make no sense not to sign him. They have dogshit at the position, freed up $16mil in cap space by dumping Osweiler, so going into this season with Weeden or Savage is embarrassing.

 

The thought is "The money is to extend Clowney or Hopkins" and my response to that is "Well fucking do it already then"

It's nice to have extra money for those things but if Rick Smith isn't doing either of those things right now then why the hell not pay Kaepernick

 

Yeah, I get that. I just cant believe they are so all-in on Watson that $5mil for kaep is a crazy notion. They traded a 2018 1st and 2nd to get out from Osweiler, so, whoever is there had better make them better than 9-7 and a playoff win

 

I guess the thought is "The system would take too long to teach Kaepernick and Savage already knows it" and again, my response to that is "Maybe there's something wrong with the system then if Tom Savage is the result of 'knowing the system'"
