Obviously can't really speak to any of that, but I do know I see a lot of environmental jobs with my state posted a lot. Not sure if they're the jobs you're trained to do or if you're willing, but might be worth checking out

Definitely was helpful, thank you. I share all these opinions on the Paris Agreement/state of GHG responsibility, I have a section of my thesis dedicated to it actually. Your last sentence is especially prescient and fitting as well for my current situation.

Yeah it kind of depends. I see a lot of jobs posted for things like making environmental impact statements or reports, which is not really my field, but I'll start broadening my search as time wears on. Admittedly, my educational path is more tailored towards continuing an academia, but I'm not nearly ready to make that decision yet given the state of the university job situation and my own exhaustion of going straight from BA into MA.

I actually interviewed for an internship in Belgium several months ago. $600 visa application fee. A lot of env orgs don't sponsor as well and will be only open to U.K./EU citizens.

 

For context, this is a bit further away from the other two incidents.

Interesting that this attacks in London occurred when the Tories and Labour are nearly matched in the polls. Now, I'm not going to throw a tin foil hat on and proclaim that I cannot prove but it is interesting.

 

I don't think it's getting into conspiracy theories to be trying to determine a motive. Regardless of the intent that they thought would happen, being near an election time is clearly meant to stir up fear.

For some reason there is a difference of belief about Sanskrit between scholars and spiritual people, I've always found it odd.
