What exactly do you mean by this? Like once they get a U.K. Show up and running that they're good to go?

 

From WON: "CFO George Barrios strongly indicated that the company would be working with ICW and Progress in the U.K. There are deals in place for both where they would be on the WWE Network as soon as Vince gives the okay."

So basically WWE's UK show could actually just be Progress and ICW stuff, with the occasional UK special thrown in.

 

Never realized WWE dumped Willie Mack and instead went with Apollo Crews. Considering how dead Crews is and how over Mack is in LU, seems silly

It came down to the fact (the other guy) and I were the same height but one can do all the moves and has charisma and the other one has the body they like. I am pretty sure you can tell who I am talking about.

I remember when Apollo got started in NXT a few years back everyone was really hyped for Uhaa Nation. I had never seen him before, and I got hyped just seeing how good of an athlete he was. But man...I wish he wasn't so vanilla and could learn how to have a straight face

 

Also now that I think about it, what is the purpose of bringing him up to the main roster so quickly after he barely had been over in NXT but Tye Dillinger had to wait so many years despite being over as fuck and really smooth in the ring

 

Wonder if his race had anything to do with it.

 

I think they gave him a chance to sink or swim. He came up at the same time as Corbin, because can you imagine what they'd do in NXT during Balor/Joe/Sami and then what followed? Apollo easily would have gotten buried.

Corbin excelled because he has a character you can push a certain way; Crews died because he's boring

 

Crews, I think, just works better as an indy talent where much of his draw isn't tied to having to have a weekly character. He can go back to "how the fuck did a dude that built just do that?"

 

Mack is fucking incredible. It's a shame they let him go before he even got off the plane. Lol

 

I really liked apollo crews in NXT. But I mainly think it's because he once liked one of my photos on instagram. What I dislike most about him is the pose he does when he comes out on the ramp and then on the ropes. There's no enthusiasm behind it.

Just watched this weeks NXT. To me, Danny Burch was more impressive than Pete Dunne in that match.

 

whats up with this new nxt theme song? Both the most recent one and the one they debuted after last takeover were just meh

 

Trying new things out breh. They're still better than the raw one

 

Also because he has no character other than being super athletic.

That being said, I really hope the Titus brand thing takes off cause Titus as a mouthpiece is great. Buuuuut Apollo still won't stop smiling

 

Lucha Underground was incredible this week. Loved it.

 

Young Bucks interview with Meltzer and Alvarez is great.

 

They said they originally wanted Omega/Cole at Supercard :( damn visa issues

 

Yeah, I have no idea where that is going. He took the heel cheapshot after a match, then came out the next two weeks smiling/unsure of Titus. Cant tell if its slow building or if he just cant pull it off

 

This PPV is going to be a mess

The main event has no heat because we all know that whomever wins is going to get fed to Brock at GBOF and that ultimately they are just building to Braun/Brock at SS and Roman/Brock at WM34

The woman's match is doomed by bad writing and no body giving a fuck

The IC belt match is going to be full of shenanigans

The mixed cruiser tag match is boring

The only redeeming qualities of the PPV is that we know AA and Neville will put on a solid match and we also have the possibility of the Hardy's becoming broken

 

The main event will be top notch regardless of booking, and the tag match will probably be a great spotfest as well, but otherwise I'm with you.

 

If they are going with Braun/Brock at SS, which I feel is far from a given, I'm curious who they book in heel/face roles. I don't think it will much matter, and I think the Brooklyn crowd will be 50/50 at first, leaning more towards Strowman by the end due to Brock's lazy style.

 

Meh

 

Id be surprised if they actually book true heel/face, and instead do the Brock/Goldberg style where its more UFC style. Just two big guys wanting to fight. I mean, technically Goldberg was the face early on, but, can you say Brock was booked heel in that feud?
