Except This River is Wild, Neon Tiger, and Under the Gun are three of their best songs.

But other than that I completely agree.

 

His latest solo album is his best work.

i like all albums by The Killers but i don't think anything The Killers can do will top Hot Fuss for me. that album is perfect. and "Midnight Show" is a super underrated non-single on there.

probably not an unpopular opinion but man, that album is so, so good.

 

So true even Hot Fuss can't quite stand up to scrutiny it's got a couple real weak tracks

 

I think making the line "I've got soul but I'm not a soldier" not only work but be touching might be the biggest accomplishment of The Killers

 

If FOB had done that line, it would have been ridiculed in every music publication on earth, and somehow they made it iconic.

 

I hate that line, ha.

I think about Eminem's line about "window pain" at least once a week. I'm not sure I can think of a worse non-offensive line in music.
