Middleditch is so great at being super physically awkward lol

I love Andy Daly's character, Russ is also great in small doses. I miss Carla.
Laurie is one that I rarely find funny.

Laurie is better now but I hate how when she was introduced she was basically a female Peter Gregory

Was behind for a while and finally caught up! I love and hate how this show only let's plot lines last like, and episode or two max. It makes the show super unique and extremely fast paced, but you also lose out on more time in a specific situation or plot

    Pressure's mountin' but I don't Everest

I understand I'm in the minority, but I don't get the Middleditch love. Like, at ALL. He's easily my least favorite character, and not just because Richard is an idiot.

He's unbelievably funny. His appearances on Comedy Bang Bang are tops. But like TJ, he can occasionally be a little too much. I'm a fan. He's going to be in Godzilla. I hope he punches Godzilla

Richard is not my favorite character but Thomas Middleditch is a genius. His performance in Silicon Valley is exceptional, maybe the best pure performance on the show. Listen to any episode of Comedy Bang Bang he's been on to experience literal miracles.

I wouldn't consider Richard an idiot, Bighead's an idiot, Richard's a brilliant coder with social issues

ya the character is a genius and he plays the CEO role so well: completely unyielding and totally unwilling to compromise the product. Also kind of a jerk hah.

I don't find Conedy Bang Bang to be funny. At all. I guess that brand of comedy just isn't for me! Still love Silicon though!

"It was the right time," Miller said. "HBO and I kind of decided that this was a time that the character could leave. We'd written it in a place where there was an organic departure."

All I needed to hear, honestly.

After the backlash from that Doug Loves Movies episode where TJ trashed Michael Bay I doubt he would speak publicly about behind the scenes issues if there were any.

Speaking of which, trashing Michael Bay is nothing new. It just reminded me of a comment made on The AVClub about an alleged interaction with Bay and Sean Connery on the set of The Rock...

"I worked on a set with a grip who had been on The Rock. The story he told me about Bay was this:

During one of the days they were to shoot in the tunnels beneath Alcatraz, they were behind schedule between camera setups. Connery made a quiet suggestion to Bay about a camera placement, in a manner that would allow multiple camera angles with minimal re-lighting and setup. Remember, at this point, Connery had not only directed a feature himself, he had also worked in the business for over 30 years. Bay responded, "You know what, Sean? Why don't you do the acting, and let me do the directing, alright?!"
At which point, Connery turned and started walking off set, ripping props off his costume and hurling them aside. Then he stopped, turned, and said, "You know, Michael, making a movie can be a deeply rewarding experience. With you, it's a fucking nightmare."
