For real. trying to decide if I should stay up all night and start it right now or wait until tomorrow.

One time at my old job I saw a guy who looked exactly like Tommy Pistol and got excited. My coworkers were wondering why I was looking at him so much and I couldn't just tell them I think he's a really cool male porn star

 

2 hour in. I just remembered I was the person in the chat room who recommended the punishment where Gil has to wear headphones and watch alone.

I spent waaaay to much time watching this that weekend. and again this week

 

him narrating the episode is unbelievable, and their reaction immediately after Gronk and Hamster leave. I still can't get through the chunk when they are there though, so fucking awkward

 

Gonna go ahead and start watching that tonight

 

Cool to hear these Magic Tavern ads at the end of CBB now

 

Absolutely loved it. It's an earnest take on the story while remaining plenty silly. Everyone involved gets their own little mini profile. All the game highlights include PSR audio. It's just perfect.

 

Having never listened to PSR, I assume the doc would be a good entry point?

CBB was so fucking funny. Not saying anything revelatory here but Middleditch is a god damn force of nature.

 

Only halfway through it but yeah, CBB is excellent this week so far.

 

And the plugs theme is a delight.

Does anyone remember in the earlier episodes of You Made It Weird Pete would talk about a Pristiq antidepressant commercial with a song that was so good and happy that it made people no longer need Pristiq?

I now see that commercial like 5 times a day and no body I know can understand why I laugh every time it comes on.

 

Today's Hello From the Magic Tavern might have been my favorite. It was so good.

 

I need to listen to Bill Burr's podcast more often. The one from yesterday is gold and I'm only 20 minutes in.

I'm skipping around through Entourageathon and about 5 hours and 45 minutes into Part 4, some old bros show up and making things so fucking uncomfortable. I have no idea who they are

Edit: They're asking if they can "motorboat" Gil's sister, what the actual fuck

Edit 2: Maybe it's not Gil's sister, but this is still super fucking weird

 

One is Rob Gronkowski's brother and the other is either a relative of Mark Wahlberg or a long-time member of his entourage. From what I remember, during the movie's press tour, someone from HBO got wind of the event and contacted Funny or Die to which they told them where it was happening.

 

The Gronk part of the Entourageathon was surreal. One of my favorite entertainment moments of the year. Showed how fucking horribly the real life Entourage people would actually behave.
