My rescheduled show in September still lists Wavves and Naked and Famous as openers even though they stop being the openers for the dates prior to that for a while. I wonder if we'll get someone else or if they're still gonna play just that one show in September lol

I hiiiiighly doubt they'll still be the openers

I wonder who we'll get then. I'm actually ok with new openers

The Naked and Famous is great. Bummer that you probably won't get to see them now!

I never actually got into them, though I have heard that.

I had never even heard of them at all until I saw them open for blink last month. Had no idea what to expect, but I was blown away.

The Naked and Famous is the only blink opener I'd actively be interesting in seeing since the reunion when they toured with Weezer and Fall Out Boy, probably. I haven't really been stoked about a blink-182 tour bill in awhile. Well, apart from the one-off show with Wu-Tang Clan.

I'd be cool to see TBS open for them again. AAR was a cool opener for them too. So was MCR(RIP)

I don't like Taking Back Sunday at all. All-American Rejects might be fun (we showed up to the venue as they were playing their last song when I saw the California tour), but I wouldn't be like, stoked to go see them. I forgot about My Chemical Romance. I'm not the biggest fan of them but I did like Three Cheers and the Black Parade when they came out, and the Conventional Weapons stuff was cool.

It'd be cool to see some off the wall type booking for blink-182. I remember once Travis suggested they tour with Lil Wayne and a lot of blink fans flipped out but that would have been fucking dope. Lil Wayne is one of my favorite live performances I've ever been to.

Ahh see TBS is my 2nd favorite behind blink so them opening equates to a double whammy of goodness for me. Especially since Tidal Wave dropped, great album and the songs from it sound amazing live. Same deal for MCR who were my number three, them opening for blink was euphoric.

On the other hand I can't stand Lil Wayne at all, so him opening would be like TBS opening for you I guess.

When I saw them in 2011 the openers were MCR and and Manchester Orchestra. I'm not the biggest fan of MCR but I love MO and that was a fun show. Also in 2013 when they played that small Brooklyn club show DIIV opened and I love them.

But yeah I agree Blink usually has really lackluster openers (especially on this last summer tour). I wish they did a full tour with Wu Tang. It worked well when they had Cypress Hill open up back in 2004.

The blink/frank turner/front bottoms tour is decent tbh

  13. Man I wish Four Year Strong opened last summer instead of ATL or ADTR. So many bands that would have been great opening. Bring Senses Fail out would absolutely be something else.

Got my tickets to see them in Columbus. Very excited to see them in a venue that size.

I'm all about FYS as an opener. I think Blink usually does a pretty good job with their lineups. It'd be cool to see them bring out an old punk band like Rancid, Bouncing Souls or something but I doubt that would happen

I agree that the UK tour lineup is probably the best they've had in awhile though

  17. when Blink was on tour with MCR, they played here in Utah with MCR, Rancid, and H2O. Great openers! But I could have done without MCR.... ha.

I actually considered going to the Columbus one since my Knoxville one got pushed back, and my hometown of Cleveland is only two hours away with all my friends and family. I talked myself out of it though cause budget

I would be so down for TBS opening for Blink. Tidal Wave is such an awesome rock album.

Blink and Weezer seems like a fun time too.

For me, the reunion tour with FOB & Panic opening was the most legit.
