Weezer is great value. Which is ironic considering how inconsistent they are :p

The joke is that I actually like RK more than Weezer I'm just messing with Casey

This was my first show as well. Looking back on it Rivers was a much more entertaining frontman than Tom.

I never listened to the last two records because of how much I disliked Raditude and Hurley. However they played "King of the World" when I saw them and I really like that song, so I may be inclined to listen. I can find at least a handful of redeemable songs on Green through Red

I won't listen to RK specifically because of cwhit. I purposely missed them at the Menzingers concert

  8. I love Rozwell Kid but the Weezer comparison both sells their music short and reduces Weezer to a fuzzy garage rock band, which isn't the case. RK doesn't sound a whole lot like Weezer outside a few songs from the 90s and Weezer, for better or for worse, are a power pop band who made garage rock by consequence rather than genuine interest in that sound. RK's new music is great and I hate seeing them constantly in the shadow of a different band.

I can't tell if this is meant to be serious or not. As someone who puts Hebrews on he same level as IARB, I sympathize with you even if I don't 100% agree.

I'm cereal. Hebrews is also fantastic. I didn't like it when it first came out but it grew on me significantly.

The last Two Tongues record is the best Say Anything record.

    I'm only partially joking...

Such an interesting album. I do love IDTII too. Horribly underrated. I'm waiting for Max to bust out Attaboy one of these days at a show.

I still need to revisit that one a little more. I like it but it never fully latched on to me.

IDTII is the worst thing I've listened to in years. Not an unpopular opinion, but still

Hebrews and the fifth Maroon 5 record are the worst albums I've heard this decade.

That honor may just go to the last Liz Phair record. Or the first Tuneyards one.

I don't know what the worst album I've heard is because why would you listen to all of it? That's crazy.

As a non-Say Anything fan, I thought that last record was alright! It caused a mighty brouhaha on AP when it was released, but I didn't think it was that bad. Pretty obnoxious (but Say Anything always are) , but not outrageously bad or anything.

Admittedly I only listened once, but I think some of the reactions were OTT.

Worst album that I've made it all the way through in recent years would be that Aaron West record with the guy from the wonder years. That was appalling.

The first paragraph somehow isn't as bad as the last.

I was with you until that terrible take on Aaron West. I could see not finding it particularly interesting (although I disagree), but that seems like such an intense reaction. (I'll still give you a pass because of your first two paragraphs though.)

Worst record I heard all the way through in the past year is definitely the latest Wavves album

Though Ed Sheeran is damn close haha

To be fair - I would usually agree with whoever said that if an album is so bad, why finish it? Most of the time, if I'm hating a record by like track 5 or something, I would turn it off. So there's not that many albums that I get all the way through disliking them all the way. I can't think of one from this year, for example.

I can't remember why I finished the Aaron West record - but I definitely did and it was awful haha.

I said that. And then immediately forgot to take my own advice and questioned you haha. I disagree that it was awful but it certainly hasn't aged too well.
