i liked the stuff with angle and graves. i want more stuff like that, but wtf was with cole not reacting to it at all? how do you just act as if thats every day shit? Cole "no selling" the angle basically all night.

it was bullshit to make Alexa cut THAT type of promo. that's a fucking HARD promo to ask someone to cut...knowing that she was given shit material to work with...it's just not fair.

everything else was shit. Drifter squash was good and hmm that's it.

 

Alexa did the best she could with it, but wow. So bad on every level.

It was inevitable I guess, progress social media has been posting stuff left and right.

 

It'll be interesting to see how long she holds onto it. She's definitely being eyed for the women's tourney. She's on top in a few different promotions, so its hard to say what goes down.

 

Cole was a significant part of last night sucking. He botched at least one call in every match; and on at least 3 occasions basically called the finish or major spot in a match as the wrong person.

Maybe he just knew the show was gonna be terrible and checked out?

 

I listen to commentary, like, 5% of the time. At least on the weekly TV shows. If it's a big match, I'll listen, but otherwise I'll have a podcast on or being playing a handheld game or something. I wanted to hear JR call Undertaker's last match. I don't want to hear Michael Cole remind us that Enzo was attacked earlier and that our main event is yet to come a hundred times during a random six man tag.

 

I'm at the point where I don't mind getting all of my Raw coverage from Bryan Alvarez.

 

I still prefer watching it, but watching the condensed version on Hulu or fast forwarding through bigger episodes on watchwrestling is the only way to live. I am enjoying it a lot more since I've ditched spoilers. I don't outright avoid them, and I still get tempted my a r/sc link or two, but I just no longer care enough to look up NXT taping results and things like that.

 

The shitty thing about Hulu is that they cut out the lower card stuff which can be the most interesting. I WANT to know what is going on with Goldust.

 

Also, I'm realizing every single performer I consider a "favorite" is on Smackdown. Zayn/Owens/Jericho/Styles/Cena/Corbin. Raw really got gutted as far as "reliable hands" that churn out average-at-worst matches. Joe has yet to shine, Rollins is great, Reigns is always improving, Ambrose is okay, Wyatt is meh, Braun is hurt. I will say that Balor has been more fun to watch since returning. But goddamn, Smackdown is just loaded.

 

Yeah, that's definitely pretty lame.

 

I've recommended this before to everyone, I believe @jmwhit04 checked it out. But these guys cover old wrestling PPVs in great and hilarious detail at times. They are currently doing TNA ppv's in the 07-08 era and have done their first one. If you're bored at all this week I definitely recommend watching it. They cover the great wrestling/awful booking of Vince Russo very well.

 

Also, Edge and Christian had Mick Foley and HBK on their latest podcast in their "Anatomy of a match" episode in which they discussed in a ton of detail their In Your House: Mind Games '96 match. I listened to the pod then checked out that match afterwards. Man what a rewarding experience.

Ambien is no joke, I've had sleep problems for years and my doctor keeps recommending it but I don't even want to try it even though it'd probably help

 

My dad was a drug addict so my Mom wouldn't let me take the pain pills my dentist gave me when my wisdom teeth came out. I don't blame her, I have an addictive personality. I too have terrible sleep problems and don't even consider taking any sort of pill for it out of fear.

 

Ive been trying to think how they'll book it to keep it from being complete shit. Ive basically come up wiht the reality its gonna suck.

Best case scenario, Alexa gets the kendo stick...then they actually write Bayley to be strong and overcome Alexa, then use the kendo stick in retaliation, but she'll get DQ'd. Worst case, Bayley gets the kendo stick, doesnt use it, and Bliss beats the hell out of her to retain by DQ. Id put money on that latter
