Yeah duh that's clearly why the Pens didn't get shot for 37 minutes. Strategy!

When you go that long without facing a shot you aren't in a rhythm.

 

What a lousy game. The linesmen who were working the game where Duchene scored an offside goal a few years ago should be blackballed forever for making these inane reviews a thing.

Totally. That adds to the aura of this weird game. Preds deserved better. Subbans goal should of counted and Crosby should of been called for interference on the PP.

Edit: also if that Neal shot doesnt hit the crossbar when the game was tied 3-3 when Preds had ALL the momentum. They would of won the game.

That offsides on Subban's goal was ridiculous.

NHL has a hard time with ratings in the U.S. That goal was exciting and then all of the energy got sucked away for the next 10 mins while the refs reviewed it. For the sake of ratings, let it be!

 

I would ask if ESPN is covering it, but I already know the answer.

They actually did a lot of stuff yesterday, leading up to it and I think after. Though, it's literally only like two or three guys from what it was before.

Already posted here in a couple comments, but the pens need to be better than they were this game. A win is a win and it's good to see them up 1-0 in the series, but so much of this game was unsustainable on both sides. No way the pens put up 12 shots and win another game. No way Rinne has a .666 save %, but also very unlikely that the Preds PP can stay at 66% and very unlikely the pens offense won't get more chances and SOGs.

TLDR; This was definitely a weird game and probably won't happen again this series.

 

The preds would win more if they wore their cooler silver jerseys
