I wouldn't like to be approached at the gym whatsoever. Maybe unless I'm offered a smoothie after my workout then perhaps.

 

Idk idk if they see me gross and sweaty and makeup free and still wanna ask me out, that could be nice lol. But I could see how it could be creepy too. I don't go to the gym so idk.

Once my old rm's friend asked me out and I considered cause a few times he had seen me just out of the shower and makeup free with like raccoon mascara eyes. I said no. he ended up being a mansplainer and then like went off to become a monk or something

Edit: my rejection did not lead him to become a monk. I'm not all that lol

 

yeah, i think the general rule of thumb is that if they're in the middle of their workout, don't do it. but if you run into them heading in or out of the facility at the same time then that's better. No one wants to get thrown out of their zone or off their rhythm or anything.

 

Back in college I had a guy try texting me while I was at the gym and told him I was using the treadmill. It's like he didn't care and thought he was more important than my workout, because "I'm at the gym" and "running" didn't make him stop texting me. I think he was really desperate to find someone bc he kinda tried hitting on me (and a co worker). He also never gave me like $50 he owed me

 

I'm getting more and more annoyed by the look of confusion and sadness that seems to come over people's faces when they learn you're in your late 20's and not married.

Started a new job this past week and while it's been amazing / awesome, when asked to talk about myself or asked about myself and it becomes apparent I'm not married their faces suddenly contain this "what's wrong with you?" perplexity to it while my reaction is, "being single is awesome and I don't want any of that marriage / compromise / long term commitment shit that you're stuck with."

 

So the girl I'm seeing is leaving to go home for the summer in a few days. We've been seeing each other almost every day for the last week and having a lot of fun together. We're already talking about cool trips we can take over the summer together. Should I try and define the relationship before she moves? Or just keep it casual over the summer until she moves back? Idk

Something I realized I have no clue how to do is "talk to girls" - I have plenty of friends who are girls but I have no clue how to approach someone as not a friends really, I think is maybe more apt of a description. Like what in the world am I supposed to say?

I'm 21 and I work in a venue/bar and I usually work Friday/Saturday nights - but I've been going home after works done anywhere from 10 to 12 at the latest, so I can work on it there. One of my co-workers is a close friend and I'm cool with my co-workers - but don't have much to talk about. That's another question mark for me.

I feel like for my Tinder profile all I'll have it say is, "Once ate 90 meatballs in one sitting." If that doesn't attract the ladies, I don't know what will tbh

 

I feel like tv shows and movies give unrealistic expectations of romantic charming witty conversations. Every time I hear dialogue like that I seethe with inadequacy lmao

 

I'm witty but far from charming. it's mostly jokes for my own benefit. it's pretty cringe inducing from an outside perspective tbh.

 

I think I might be might be too self-deprovating sometimes and point out things I do weird, some people get it some don't. Not sure!

 

People irl tell me I'm witty but it takes me a few months of knowing someone to get there. And lbr for every 1 successful witty joke I make, there's like 9 I make that don't land lol

I actually did last night, had a great time & barely even thought about the break-up at all. It's nearly 3 AM now though so I should really just try to go to sleep but I can't.

Not that I really plan on doing much with it, but Tinder is basically useless to me as I have an extremely hard time being physically attracted to someone unless I know their personality, so I end up swiping left on like 90% of the candidates lol. I wasn't all that physically attracted to any of my ex girlfriends at first until I got to know their personalities and then I thought they were the most beautiful girls in the world so...

EDIT: ha, one of the first people that pops up is this girl I used to go to high school with who is now an escort. Hell yeah.

 

I was talking to a new girl for awhile, everything was cool but then out of nowhere she told me she's into some kinky stuff and has two manslaves ahead of me and yea... it was really strange. I didn't even know how to react, I don't "wait my turn" and I'm not into that. Despite the weirdness, I was more annoyed that she later in the convo tried to make excuses and said she just wanted to be friends. What made me more mad is that she knew that I am someone who needs to be told whether we are just friends right away and decided to "wait it out" while having two other dudes already. What a prick!

 

So ironic that last time I was posting here was about how happy I was.
I was so happy. The happiest I've been...maybe ever.
Things were going perfectly. I told people I thought it was a dream.
Things that seem too good to be true, typically are..
Things went up in flames so quickly and drastically.
Not just romance wise, it took everything with it.

 

I'm also attracted to personality, don't worry not sapio, but I feel like I want someone who's fun enough to get me out of my shell but not too destructive,fuck that's a Manic Pixie Dream Girl isn't it

also I wish I could differentiate between flirting and someone just being nice
