Thought GTA 4 had a pretty good story

 

I hope Watch_Dogs 2 does well. A bit uneasy about Rockstar now considering what was revealed recently.

 

What if you never got the chance to play the games on last gen? What if sold your last gen console/games and want the chance to go back and replay them. You not giving a shit about an HD remaster doesn't inherently make it a dumb idea.

Should be obvious I'm speaking of my own opinion. Seems stramge to me to not have played the series when it first came out since it was available on every platform and just now want to play them, doesn't seem like there'd be a large market for cross-platform game remasters.

Not too mention both consoles are expanding their backwards compatability libraries.

 

There are TONS of people that are just getting their PS4/ONE. They had heard how good a game like Batman is but don't get to play it because they don't own a 360/PS3 and it is not backwards compatible. Those people are going to be excited. Also, assuming people have played a game before just because it's cross platform is a stretch.

 

I saw the Arkham Collection and at first I was like "cool that would be a solid buy" since I never played the series but then I remember I can buy all the ones on the 360 for super cheap especially when all it will really have is upgraded graphics.

 

Just got Jace, Unraveler of Secrets! That's my second Planeswalker from Shadows Over Innistrad and eleventh overall.

 

I am currently working my way through the AC series, still finishing up AC 2. So many games to play, some series fall behind. Just the way it is.

Also, sort of obvious, but if there wasn't a market for them, then they wouldn't continue making them.

 

How many remasters are there of games that we cross-platform from last gen? The AK remasters would be one of the first no?

 

Meh, if the price is right I'll buy that Arkham collection. Those games are great and I've been wanting to replay Asylum lately.

If Insomniac does a R&C Future trilogy remaster on the other hand, I'll buy it in a heartbeat. New game is so much fun and I'm itching for more.

 

Just making sure, so I'm not missing any other news, are you referring to the lawsuit against them and what it might do for future GTA games?

 

GTA V, Tomb Raider, Dishonored off the top of my head.

 

Not sure GTA V should count since it was developed for both generations concurrently.

Yes it is. You can also add Devil May Cry to the list.

Then you will eventually get a code sent to you via a message on Xbox, a lot of codes to be sent out so no idea when you will receive one.

 

Think I might re-up my FFXIV subscription this summer to see all the changes that have happened in the year and a half since I stopped. I definitely gotta check out the casino stuff (Love that type of content in MMOs, the casino in PSU extended my playtime on that game significantly).

Gonna be a hassle trying to relearn my class however.

 

You guys weren't joking. I picked the wrong game to "relax" to with Grim Fandango. Just the beginning had me scratching my head for a few minutes.
