This is very fun.

This reminds me a ton of late 00s/early 10s British bands like The Kooks or Little Comets, which is great.

 

I'm so unhappy I haven't listened to this yet!

 

This album is absolutely fantastic, the best songs here are amazing and the rest are good to great. Super upbeat, fun, clever, I'll be coming back to this a lot

 

I still think We Used To Be In Love is their best. It's so upbeat and massive sounding.

 

We Used To Be In Love, Leaving You Behind, Vitamin C, Felt are the easy standouts after one listen for me

 

I guess we aren't getting any US tours because they are already working on the next album ha

 

The sooner we get more Clean Cut Kid the better to be fair.

 

I would appreciate a US tour, or at least a single LA date , but yes I am happy with more music for sure

 

two new singles have come out recently, they are a bit less produced and a bit more "dirty" for lack of better word

new album March 29!

 

Didn’t realize there was a new album today but excited to check it

 

I'm hopeful that I enjoy it, but the singles leading up to this one aren't on par with the first album at all, everything has felt a lot more... raw and unproduced and kinda unfinished? I dunno, I'll listen to the album soon, still have high hopes somehow

 

After one listen, I hate to say it, but I do feel the production brings this album down. I can tell there are some quality songs in here, but they are just kinda...... muddled by production. I see from wikipedia that the band left their label after the debut, so I guess it's not entirely shocking that this sounds like it was produced by, well, themselves it seems

 

I enjoyed this more than I was expecting to. The production didn’t bother me at all for whatever reason, and I’m normally pretty sensitive to that kind of stuff
