Ehh, not saying it's better than Punk-Cena. But Punk-Cena also had a main event slot on a ppv. I think as a wrestling match, Bate-Dunne is more fun to watch

Nah, you really don't. It's the same thing as asking someone if they're crazy all the time. You're questioning someone's sanity, it isn't funny at all. Just because you have a different opinion doesn't make you crazy or drunk or high or anything.

This week's Being the Elite may have had my favorite FTR moment.

 

Shirt STINKS

Yet another shirt that should be the opposite. ie. his name should be on the front with that graphic on the back

 

Bate/Dunne was great but Punk/Cena was absurdly good. Some of that is attributed to storyline and the crowd, but Punk/Cena >>>> Bate/Dunne

 

Bate/Dunne is the superior athletic showing by a mile, but as pro wrestling match you really don't get much better than CM Punk/Cena

 

Elephant looks like its wearing Erick Rowans mask

 

Had to rewatch at least the entrances to that MITB match at work. Cena's entrance is so perfect, he knew exactly how to handle it. Had that 'strictly business' vibe to it. Doing nothing gimmicky just walked straight to the middle of the ring with his hat down low and held up that belt to the loudest boo's he has probably ever heard.

Reminds me why I still watch pro wrestling.

 

Doesn't everything just have a real B-level vibe to it in WWE right now? I look back at matches like the Punk Cena one being discussed and it really makes it obvious.

 

Helps to have a favorite fans are actually behind. Imagine the Roman storyline from 2015-2016 but with Ambrose instead. Ambrose overcomes Mcmahons meddling to win the title, only for Sheamus to cash in. He gets it back only to lose it at the Rumble to the Authority. He beats Brock and Roman to become #1 contender, and at WM32, he has the same style match he had at Roadblock, bringing a surprising game plan to take down HHH. All along the way, Mick Foley is by his side encouraging him.

Crowd might not have been Punk/Cena levels, but, they wouldnt have been checked out like Reigns/HHH. Cause Ambrose not joining the Authority would have made more sense for his character.

I like Patrick Clark for some reason. He seems like he belongs in the ring. I need to see more of it but I'm not sure on this gimmick though.

Yeah I just figured there were a fuck ton more people in Chicago so it must of been louder. But very well could of been louder in tiny Hammerstein ballroom.
