They did. That's how I discovered Alkaline Trio. Underground's soundtrack. It was the most fun song to have playing while you were doing all the insane shit in the story mode.

*skating around. That guitar starts up. My CC instantly starts busting up shit like a boss*

Armageddon is one of my favourite Alk3 tracks. Mainly due to the nostalgia attached.

Let's hold our breath until we disappear

I was really hoping this new Goldfinger song would also start out with the Bored to Death riff. Disappointed.

    Tony Hawks Pro Skater ftw

I also remember finding the Pilfers through Andy Macdonald Skateboarding for the PC.

I think I first heard Spokesman on a Burton snowboarding video

Nope, 'cause I listened to Radiosurgery. Is their new album significantly different from the New Found Glory I've known since 2000? I don't doubt that they can still write a fun pop punk song, but it's not music I'm terribly interested in.

Not significantly, it's very New Found Glory but also very poppy and they just sound rejuvenated. Even if it's not your type of music anymore, I think it's worth a spin at one point this summer just cause it's a lot of fun.

coulda forecasted this from Lil Wayne feat. Nicki Minaj, "Knockout" (Rebirth, 2007)

or Kevin Gates singing What's My Age Again for pitchfork

    That was a fun read.

You have to wonder why they chose certain songs over the ones we got on the deluxe. Like I know Parking Lot, Misery and Wildfire didn't exist; but some of these did. Why did they pick for example Kings of the Weekend over Good Old Days? Or something to that effect

I haven't loved an NFG album since Catalyst. And I think the new one is their second best. Def worth checking out at least.

I haven't liked a NFG album since sticks and stones in full and I second your last sentence

I would say because some of those DLX songs sound similar to ones on the album. Same kind of vibes.

Misery (even though its new), Good Old Days, Don't Mean Anything, and Hey Im Sorry....Those remind me a lot of San Diego with their slow verses and anthemic choruses.

Kings Of The Weekend (that song grew on me a shit ton) was probably left on there bc it was up tempo, fun, and fit the vibe of the record overall.

I think if anything were to be taken off for any of those DLX songs....it should've been teenage satellites lol.

IDK, man haha. Im just guessing.

    Prestigious Prestigious

I want them to include songs from this on the next tour but they wouldn't include the ones I want lol. They'd play Parking Lot and Wildfire in the spots where I'd want Last Train Home and Bottom of the Ocean

Now I Know This World Isn’t Spinning Just For Me Prestigious

I'd want Last Train Home, Misery, 6/8, Bottom of The Ocean, or Good Old Days. They said they've talked about playing some deluxe starting with the U.K. Shows but yeah probably PL and wildfire

I actually really hope the rumors of another American tour in the fall are true. They almost never come to the DMV for some reason and I feel like they owe us a show

I can see that. Although Good Old Days seems closer to Teenage Satellites or KoTW than San Diego to me. I wish they someday in an interview or in Marks twitter QAs he does kind of reveal the thought process why some got chosen over others (mark will probably just answer what kind of eggs he likes and skip that question). To me though songs like Last Train Home or Good Old Days would have done well on OG cali. At least we still got them though

    Things have changed.

They did the DC101 Kerfuffle which is why there was no summer tour show last year. And then they just didn't make it north enough on the spring run. I'd have much rather had a headlining show than Kerfuffle.
