Yo did SLADE just have a... good take????

 

If I could go back and change one thing about last night Breezango would be the tag champs

 

Good show, but Raw one the battle of the PPVs this time around. I'm a little salty about the finish to KO/Styles, only because everyone and their mother knew that Jinder/Orton was going to have a wonky ending and it would've been nice to have a clean win there.

 

How the f did you know that this early in the show?

 

Hahaha a wwe champ with no merch, does this mean they'll keep him till next ppv so they can capitalize on merch sales from Indian fans?

 

This is heartbreaking.

 

I figured they were ending on a big emotional moment since their main belt wasn't headlining. For a positive moment, they already won the tag belts against the Revival and no winning moment was gonna top that. A negative moment was probably likely at the hat point, especially since we all kinds figured they would break up anyway.

 

While you make it seem like it was obvious, mostly everyone else seemed pretty shocked and no dirt sheet rumors or anything...impressive.

 

I saw it reported on reddit that the show was going to have a DIY turn. Was super bummed about it, one of those moment I would've liked to have been shocked by.

 

Ha yeah my jaw hit the floor. Especially after the title flashed at the end there.

I didn't see any specific rumor close to the show. It going on last just raised my eyebrow a bit. I figured it was the last time these twords teams were gonna wrestle each other for a while at least. It's still too early for TM61 to come back, and as much as I would've came in my pants for a FutureShock reunion/debut, that wasnt gonna happen.

I was still shocked when it happened though cause of the title card appearing. My girlfriend came over 10 minutes prior, and I kept warning her I thought it was gonna happen. Did a slight sigh of relief then my heart sunk.

 

That's not the first time they've done that though with a turn coming after the title card/copyright info. It's def been a while though. I believe the last time was KO's turn on Sami at Takeover (R)Evolution. That was personally my first time seeing it and that night shocked the hell out of me! This one was still great though and even though I always had the thought in the back of my mind that it could happen, it still took me by surprise when it actually did.

 

This is def a fair point. As much as I loved that they went in a new direction, I don't think I would have been as accepting/excited about the title change had Jinder taken it off of someone else like Bray or AJ.

 

I feel like I heard a decent amount about the DIY break up without even trying before it happened. Idk.

 

Didn't something leak a few weeks back of an artist saying they were recording a song for Gargano (I think)? Didn't make it any less shocking.

 

That was the only thing I personally saw before hand, but I also wasn't on here or reddit much last week so I don't know if there were other rumblings ahead of time.

 

Yeah Im pretty sure I recall Meltzer last week talking about the injury angle and the break up happening. Not that it matters. I think thats why I just wasn't shocked. Also I am a sociopath.

No, Jinder retains and then Cena shows up in two weeks and just randomly gets a title match and wins

Meanwhile AJ still hasn't gotten his fair one on one rematch

 

Cena actually makes a lot of sense, which is a bummer.
