I've heard pretty much all of the suggestions everyone else had except this one. I've literally never heard a single AFI song before that I can recall. I'll check it out.

    Sleekest of beaks. So Good.

Parking Lot is clearly about all toms photos of him wearing beanies in parking lots.

We need a studio acoustic album, if they record it now they can still release it before toms WDNTW acoustic.

I actually wanted that WDNTW acoustic album. Sadly maybe it'll be out for the 20th anniversary and we'll have at this rate 4-5 more blink albums by then lol

Bloc Party's (masterpiece) Silent Alarm. Some songs give me a similar lustful/romantic/80s vibe combined with a faster/punk-ish spin.

    Also:

    - Anything by The Cure from the mid '80s until the mid '90s, I think that was their greatest influence. Disintegration is their best.

    - Yellowcard - Lift A Sail

Finally some recommendations I can get behind. I don't dislike most of the albums others listed, but they don't seem similar to Blink self titled.

So shower me in a chorus of compliments and verse I don't deserve. I might run... but I'll never hide.

There are certain ways that all of those albums are similar to Untitled under certain contexts. Otherwise, I had a hard time thinking of good comparisons stylistically. The album just has that blink charm to it.

It's hard to compare anything to self titled because mark and toms vocals are so different from one another and complement each other so well. "Taking back Sunday - where you want to be" had a darker vibe with really good dual vocals. This band called with " misser - everyday I tell myself I'm going to be a better person" was similar as well.

Good Old Days sounds like the band I thought blink would sound like during their reunion. I liked Up All Night, but it felt like a struggle between Tom's AVA sound and old blink. Not a mesh or cohesive unit.

Good Old Days sounds exactly what I expected in their initial reunion. Different, but still top quality pop punk. Love it. Absolutely love it.

By the way, the Deluxe edition gets better with each listen (and it was already phenomenal after one spin.)

Speaking of Good Old Days, is it just me or is that the first song they've done that features Matt only in backing vocals without a single solo line?

I'm thinking its as "live" as the blink 182 "live' album is. Ya copy?

Also, I find your dislike for California & Wildfire amusing. Only because I despise California but love Wildfire.

To each their own i suppose.

Wouldn't be surprised but Matt's vocals seem the same at least.
