Got a really awesome print at Motor City Comic Con today.

 

We were playing The Metagame tonight, which is like Cards Against Humanity except not horribly awful. Basically, a topic gets picked, one person gets assigned as the judge, and the judge deals everyone four cards. Each other player picks one of their cards as the most pertinent to the topic card, then each person gets a minute to argue to the judge why their card is the right choice.

Anybody catch the full Ricochet vs. Ospreay match at BOSJ? I am trying to find the whole thing online. I can't stop watching this clip from it.

 

Watched it on njpwworld. Great match and played off their previous matches well plus great post match. That move was insane.

Are they doing more than 4 Takeovers a year now? It's May and tonight is the third of the year already.

 

they usually do 5 takeovers a year, this one just happens to be really soon after the last one

 

Just looked it up. They did 4 in 2014, 5 in 2015, 4 last year, and 5 this year.

 

Watching the U.K. Championship Special is so weird because WWE refuses to admit they pretaped it. They're putting the date on the top right corner as May 19th, but they mention how Trent Seven injured his arm against Wolfgang on the first night, and tomorrow is his #1 contenders match against Pete Dunne. Then right afterwards they interview Seven and the interviewer says NXT Takeover Chicago is in a few weeks. Immediately after that is the #1 contender match and JR is saying how tomorrow they're flying out to Chicago for Takeover...

Can't watch Takeover live. My buddy's band is playing with another local named Gallons of Pork. I usually skip most of his shows, but I have determined I need to see what Gallons of Pork is all about.

fun fact: pete dunne won the most likely to dunked into a dunk tank superlative in high school

 

I'm bummed they changed Dunne's theme music
