My recent favorite gaming moment that involved music is adding songs to my casette player in Metal Gear 5.

Pool has a late 90's pop vibe to it, can't really put my finger on a specific comparison. Sixpence None The Richer?

Well I guess this has been out a week now, listened to the album a lot haha

 

this is a weird album haha in like... i was just about to write a review about how I thought it was kinda a 'meh' album, but now that I'm listening to it on my computer it actually sounds better than in my car? That's never happened to me before. usually, the car is the ultimate test, and it wasn't clicking in the car...but chilling at home it's actually fine.

In the end to me this is clearlly 4th on my list of paramore albums, and on the paramore scale it's a disappointment (because they've just released three great to amazing albums prior to this), but it's still solid. They've still yet to make a bad album and I'm totally okay with the direction.

Favorite songs; Hard Times (the only song that i love), Forgiveness (the HAIM cover), Caught in the Middle (i like this a lot), Idle Worship (took a few listens to realize how much i like this).

The rest of the songs have slowly begun to grow on me with the only songs I'm not digging at all are the slow songs. I know what this band can do with slow songs and I think these two (26 and Tell me How) are kinda bland for me.

I was just going to post about Goldeneye and ReLoad. Sup, fellow old fuck?

 

I bought 2 tickets to the Utah date of their tour. My girlfriend will be very pleased. So excited to hear more of these new songs live! This is going to be such a fun tour, I feel like.

 

I never liked the sounds and music in most video games, so I'd always put on different CDs to listen to while I played them too, haha. I didn't really have any in regular rotation though. Tony Hawk 2 though... I blasted the music in that game like nobody's business!

 

The Tony Hawk games had great soundtracks and so did Aggressive Inline (does anyone remember that one?).

 

I'm balding @ 30

 

There's nothing like the feeling when you hear a song you didn't realize you know and then you're just like "wait a minute that's a tony hawk song".

Man, this album is so great. Props to any band that's good enough to keep pushing their sound. Takes a lot to make your fifth album your best yet.

 

They added Bleached to the Europe tour! I am going to the First night in Dublin and thinking about going to the 2nd night in Belfast.

It's going to be amazing the venue for Dublin is only 1,240 capacity!! Super tiny for Paramore.

 

Wow Bleached is an awesome opener!

 

I wonder if they're going to get someone to play the three Florida dates since Best Coast isn't going to.
