Something I never would have noticed if Meltzer didn't bring it up, JTL is easily one of the GOAT. He was doing a fake tap for something like 30 seconds that big Dave said he'd never seen from anyone before. Its crazy to think that something so simple could be innovated like that.

 

I actually noticed that too but had audio off so I was legit unsure if he had tapped and Taka was just getting heat by not releasing the hold or not

Holy shit, this season of Master of None has Aziz's character on a first date with a girl who is a wrestling fan and she recounts a fictional WWE Title match at Summerslam between Dean Ambrose and Samoa Joe and they nail all the names of the moves and she's all "AND THEN JOE WENT FOR THE MUSCLE BUSTER BUT AMBROSE COUTERED AND WENT FOR DIRTY DEEDS BUT JOE APPLIED HIS SUBMISSION FINISHER, THE COQUINA CLUTCH!"

Watching NXT last night.

Sonya Deville being pushed instead of the stupid Lacey Evans gimmick is fine with me. She was the one that caught my eye (ie. she was the only one who seemed like she actually had some sort of character) during that battle royal

I binge watched the new season today and I was marking out to my gf about it and made her watch the scene with me

 

Hahaha it's almost frustrating because WWE would probably rather get some shitty shoehorned reference on Big Bang Theory or something yet actually cool relevant shows are privy to them and I doubt anyone there has any idea

 

Even Big Bang Theory is probably too new for them. They're probably wondering why Pacific Blue won't return their calls
