Yeah the distance drives me nuts. Even as Lucio sometimes I find it hard to escape, even if I've booped the Symmetra back and speed boosting out of there.

i have nostalgia and hype!

 

wow, that video got me kinda emotional. its so cool how much they love the community and the game and likewise its cool how much the community seems to really really love the game given how much fanart and cosplays there have been.

I got goosebumps watching them launch the game. "we're now live in all regions" and then them staring in amazement at the hundreds of thousands of people logging in at once. What a cool video.

Also event goes from May 23rd-June 12th so normal 3 weeks which is great

 

and to think my love for overwatch started with @lightning13 mentioning it and the funhaus boys constantly playing it.

 

I was so hooked on the beta that I preordered within like thirty minutes of playing lol

 

I honestly missed the boat initially on the game, it took my friends to wear me down and get it. Looking back on it, I can't think of one other game in a long time that truly captured my enthusiasm and love like Overwatch has. Seeing that video hit me right in the feels, I can't wait to see what comes with this event.

 

Also, I'm sorry, wallet. You knew this was coming though.

 

Yup same haha. I kept being like "I'm so sick of everyone talking about Overwatch" and finally one of my friends convinced me to try it and I was instantly hooked.

 

I do think it's goofy as hell that they're basically re-releasing the Origins edition with a new title though.

 

my friend needed a ride back to the airport to go back to iraq to continue his service, so he myself and our other close friend drove to Charlotte to stay with our friend Kris at his apartment for a couple days and just enjoy each others company since our friend Wesley could very well not return back to us (thankfully he did!) so we just hung out. Kris had just got Overwatch the day before and we spent like two days playing it non-stop and just passing the controller around. The day we drove back to the beach side of NC i looked up how much the game was and how much i had in my account and without hesitation i purchased it for my ps4. now i play it on my PC but i still have such fond memories of last summer just hanging out with some of my favorite people.

like how I was a top zenyatta main before they buffed him into the meta

This makes me wish I wasn't so late to the overwatch party. But better late than never I guess.

Hands down my favorite moment was the Sombra ARG. What an incredibly well made and fun ARG that was the perfect length /s

I've had a lot of fun moments with this game in all seriousness, not just actual in game time but talking about it with other people and watching streamers

 

I actually did like the Sombra ARG :(

 

It just went on for so fucking long. Ana and Orisa reveals were handled much better.

I've played so much Overwatch since release, so much that I'm pretty close to a silver portrait. Been taking some breaks from it recently so I can play more Nier and P5.

 

sombra is still the best....

My best match was a comp match, the opposing team ran right through us in the first round in Numbani. We almost lost at the first point but we pushed through and ended up handing that team their ass on a platter in the following round. Never have I played with another team, without any mics or communication, that worked together as well as that one did.
