    I couldn't disagree more.

Yeah, I realized what you were referring to after I posted. :ok:

Sounds like it took 30 seconds to write this post too. Imagine that.

Songs are not in any way boring live. They would have been helped by having it be night so they could embrace their visual component

  4. I'm really just not a big fan of the new album. I stopped listening to it just a few days after it came out, and I haven't felt any desire to go back to it. It's a good album, but there just aren't a lot of songs on it that I'd say I love. I've been rocking their debut and all the EPs since they came out though.

yeah it did take that long. What is your point?
I dig this album a lot just that song I can't get into.

It's the one where Matty sings "if i believe you."

Because it's an incredibly baseless comment to say that song is last and took 30 seconds to write. It adds nothing to the conversation.

As far as their Coachella set goes, I'm not sure why they should feel the need to play their upbeat songs just because it's an outdoor festival. Their new album is much more mellow and atmospheric. Their sets should reflect that if that's what they want to play.

  8. I think it was just in a weird slot on the setlist. If they were further down the list, I think it would have been better. But what do I know?

And in case anyone is curious, here's the Coachella setlist:

    Love Me
    Ugh!
    Heart Out
    Change of Heart
    Somebody Else
    Robbers
    Girls
    If I Believe You
    Chocolate
    The Sound
    Sex

This is nothing to get up in arms about guys.

It was an internet stream of a festival set. People can say they found parts boring without it being some attack on these guys.

Robbers, Because I believe you are great slow songs. I wasn't feeling change of heart. Zzzzzz.

I like every song on this album more than "Heart Out" and "Chocolate".

I'm not attacking anybody, but if that's what you think then I'll just go ahead and bow out.

Damn, I think I like "Heart out" better than a few songs on the new record.

Honestly "Heart Outs"'s one of my least favourites on the debut anyway. I like every song on this album more than most of the first album.

No, I meant someone saying a song is boring live is not an attack on the band (or the song itself, really.)

I'm like between both sides. If I only have a 45 minute set to see these guys, I don't really want the full 2 minute outro to If I Believe You, for example. But yeah it's their set, they could play Monster Mash for 45 minutes straight, that's up to them.

Interesting, I love the two minute outro to If I Believe You. That's my favorite part of the song. Feels like the most heart-on-sleeve moment of the song. Funny thing is I was about to say on the entire album, but then I remembered Nana and She Lays Down haha.

If I saw them live and I didn't get You, Me, or Pressure I would die inside.

Really curious to see what their full sets will look like.

I would love to see Pressure live. I've seen everything I'd really wanted to see from the S/T on their last run through the US in December except for that song.

Also, if you wanna know what their full set will look like you can check setlist.fm. Considering everything that goes into their stage setup, I highly doubt it will change from what they're playing in the UK.

Thought COH tripped up the momentum first time I saw it live, still think it does.

Heart Out is def in my top 3 from the debut.

  22. I like the new album a ton but agree that set list couldve used a couple of more up-tempo songs.

that said, their whole attitude this cycle has been that they're gonna do what they want and I respect that.
