This... Is a disappointing development.

I didn't expect it to be anything at all... but there was a small gilmmer of hope that it would be somethinggggggg.

I hope when they inevitably play a secret show in San Diego that it's not at The Casbah as that place is 21+ and I wouldn't be able to go haha.

 

I feel like this thread is one of those industrial work places that keeps track of how much time it's been between work related accidents.. except we keep track of the time between notable blink news and we don't take pride in how long it's been. oh, and we're always sad.

...yeah, it's not really like that at all. i'm just losing my mind and need new blink.

I Googled Jerry Finn + John Feldmann and stumbled upon this mildly amusing quote from Feldmann in an old interview with guitar center..

"I've made mistakes," he admits, "but I've always learned from them. I'll listen to records I've done and realize that I went too far on certain sounds or frequencies. Chris Lord-Alge mixed a record of mine about five years ago, and I asked him every question I could think of. I did the same thing with (producer) Jerry Finn. I met him at a party and I cornered him in a room, asking him questions like, ‘What do you use for a buss compressor? What's your favorite microphone?'


Theory: The double "n" in Finn and Feldmann is a great sign.

 

They're in good hands. Feldmann is the perfect fit, best producer choice they could've made for this record. We didn't even listen to it yet and I already can tell he did a good job.

Spoke to another person that has heard some songs tonight. His exact words: "A ballad and a lot of energy."

Sounds good to me.

Mark did post a screenshot of a blink song he was listening to on IG a while back with that title so it's definitely at least a song.

 

It could be more than a song title, maybe an album title? Why to produce a T-shirt with a song title? It will give more sense if it's something bigger than a song.

 

I think "No Future" would be a great album title.

I also like "Think No Future" for some reason after reading your post, haha.

 

No Future is a really good title. Makes me think Mark is writing pessimistic songs again, and he's good at that.
