I vote Mene isn't on a new record but not willing to bet on it haha... I would but I'm too poor.

haha, i wanted to put a time limit on there so nobody would take me up on the bet once the track listing was announced.

 

The thought of a double album is overwhelming now that would be EPIC

 

To get nothing for so long and then boom around 20 new songs would be amazing

 

In a perfect world, they'd release the album this year, and then scatter the release of some b-sides that they like but didn't fit an album. By "scatter the release" I mean that they should just release them song by song till they officially call it quits in 2018 (presumably).

 

If Brand New is an active band until 2018 ill be very surprised

 

I've always had this silly idea that they've been stockpiling music for years and years now and that it will eventually all see the light of day

 

I would buy a 'with the lights out' style set in a heartbeat.

 

In a perfect world...

 

Maybe Brand new will bring back MTV Unplugged

 

10 track album with 10 music videos on a special revival episode of TRL.

Thanks man. I can't wait for the sequel. A friend of mine might fly out to see it with me because we don't know anyone else who would want to see it in theaters.

 

Someone on Reddit supposedly asked Kevin Devine at a show when his new album would be out. According to the poster KD pointed at the posters shirt, which happened to be a Brand New shirt, and said "it depends on when these guys release theirs, we want some space in between"

Make of that, what you will.

 

Well yeah. That would probably be smart. You don't release Star Wars the same weekend as Star Trek. That's funny though he mentioned that though.

 

Daisy is an incredible album with some great lyrics just throwing that out there

 

I really wanna believe that Reddit post, but...

 

I don't see any reason not to believe it. Seems reasonable to me.

I've been feeling optimistic when it come to Brand New the past few days. That's unlike me, and will probably break me before too long.

 

I hate that I have this attitude, but years of speculation with no results has just made me a huge skeptic.
