I ordered mine from their site. Should be coming today in fact. I really need to get a record player haha.

And you got a digital download, right? So people who ordered from their site get one, but all others don't? Sounds weird to me.

I am enjoying this. I don't know how often(if ever) I'll return to it, but it's a nice album.

I've spent the last six months inside feeling lonely and confined so yeah, I've had a lot of this on repeat haha

This clicked with me today. The stretch of Easy To Love - Phonics Failed Me is really, really great.

Also, I love the way the bass sounds on this record. Not only is the musicianship phenomenal, the tone is great as well.

Finally had the chance to check this out. Kinda disappointed in it. Lot less immediate than nervous imo. Thought the closer was kinda weak especially, although it would be hard to follow up south philly

It's definitely not as immediate as Nervous, but I already enjoy listening to it more.

I think it's far more immediate. Nervous has a lot of growers.

Yeah nervous was a wave of blah to me for the most part. Though I should give it another chance I guess.

I think the melodies on Nervous, for the most part, are more immediate. That album is more "pop-punk" than this one and therefore has hooks that grab you sooner than the ones on here do. That's not at all to say that these songs aren't catchy or have weaker melodies, but I do think this album is a bit more subdued than Nervous and requires more time to appreciate.

Of course, I understand others not feeling that way. That's just my take.

Nervous was written very well but it was simple and clearly a debut. This feels like the first "Cayetana" album. Like, this has an identity that Nervous didn't quite have. It's more confident, more daring, and improves on Nervous in pretty much every way.

It's an impressive leap, but I have a deeper personal connection to Nervous. Some of the lyrics on the new one hit too close to home for me to constantly listen and form that connection.
