Definitely was very mellow. He joked about Bethlehem being where Jesus was born but that was it. The low energy fit the more ambient focus of the setlist though.

I was cracking up before they played A Change Of Heart because Matty said "We're gonna fuck you up." Was that in response to somebody throwing stuff on stage or just because they were gonna play a sad song. I thought the latter but my friend was saying the former

Millennial that loves those parts of the set.

I've had to use the bathroom the last two shows (drinking) and went during S/T songs each time.

The use of the phrase "those damn millienials" is pretty embarrassing too.

I was obviously being sarcastic. I'm also a "millennial"

I will make sure to use italics and add "/s" in the future.

What's the age range for being a millennial anyway? I've got to be on the young end, so I don't know if mid teenagers even count anymore.

It's somewhat debatable but I've generally seen if you were born 1985-2000, that's he millenn range. Huge misconception is that younger than that is millennial, but they're actually the next generation. Millennials are the ones hitting the workforce now.

Seeing live for the 4th time tomorrow night, with a beautiful woman from Norway I met last fall in a grad school class of mine; she's leaving for home Friday, so this is going to be our last big experience together, at least hopefully for a while. I'm beyond excited; I even bought her the rose-gold necklace of the rectangle with "1975" inscribed on it, giving it to her after the show

Before Music for Cars (more accurately, Chocolate which is when they started to take off here). It felt like a lot of the crowd might have been relatives or friends I guess. Or those sorts of people who just go to whatever gig happens to be on at their local venue that night.
