But do you not agree that he should work on it in order to not destroy his voice so he can actually still perform in 10 years

Do you think he doesn't know this? If it was as easy as just stopping he probably would. That's not how it works with addiction and I know this first hand. And if he's not addicted and just does it occasionally and not regularly then he'll be fine.

Denver kind of got the shaft with a short setlist tonight but still a great time! Crowd was really fun. Excited for round 2 tonight.

If anyone needs tickets for the MSG show, I just want to get rid of them at face value. Balcony seats, forgot I had them. If this is against the Chorus rules then let me know.

I'm wondering if the setlist is getting shorter for safety concerns? A few girls passed out at the SLC show and a couple at the Denver show last night.

Man if the Bethlehem date gets cut...

As long as the Bethlehem date gets that stretch of Please Be Naked, Lostmyhead, Somebody Else, Me, and Fallingforyou (Me is the only one they've ever cut on this tour) then I am okay.

Spoiler tagged in case anybody in this thread doesn't want to know the setlist until they are there

Find it weird that people decide so adamantly what's hard or not for a person who isn't themselves.

Matty being asked in an interview about what song gives him to most difficult time live and his answer of This Must Be My Dream is the only explanation I need as to why they dropped that song from their setlists and haven't added it back yet. Very simple concept.

Obviously the real reason they don't play it is because it's all a government conspiracy, they're trying to make you extra-cognizant of that song so that you forget that they're phasing out You.

Anyway, we mentioned to Matty that it was our favorite song and we hoped one day they could play it again, and he politely said "Oh....we'll try our best", so I can sleep peacefully now knowing it's been validated it won't ever happen! Haha.

I learned that George and Ross are insanely tall and Matty is surprisingly average sized.

Anyone know set times for the tour, typically? Trying to plan dinner tomorrow.

Teenagers in front of me complained about the ambient songs. One called Lostmyhead "the one I always skip". Was REALLY nice other than that haha

Oh that's embarrassing. At least they are still young and can maybe change.

I like Lostmyhead, and the shorter version of Please Be Naked they play right before it. I still stand firm that the song ILIWYS live is a setlist killer. I even took a short video during it on Sunday and you can see 1) tons of people leaving for the bathroom/drinks, 2) everyone else standing still; and 3) the crowd talking louder than you can hear the actual song. This is not me being someone who "doesn't get" it, these are facts and something I've seen each of the 7 times I've seen this track played live in the past 6 months.

They literally come on EXACTLY at 9:00 to the exact second. They must plan it that way. At least 3 times now I've been looking at the time, and the lights dim at 8:59:59. It's crazy. British promptness.

The show last night was great and the setlist was almost perfect. One thing that struck me as odd though was how quiet and reserved Matty was. He really only spoke to the crowd twice all night to say hello and crack jokes around A Change Of Heart and then to tell people go put their phones away before Me and Falingforyou.

Between that and then having cut 3-4 songs from their setlists on this tour alone (they played 18 songs last night, excluding The 1975), I was under the impression that all the touring has gotten to the band again. Last night was I'm think the least energized I had ever seen them.

Like I said, still a great show and I loved the setlist. I'm really glad I finally got to see Please Be Naked and Lostmyhead (despite the latter having been played noticeably slower during its climax) as well as favorites Me and Fallingforyou. Can't wait for Music For Cars to come in 2018.
