Honestly wondering what the band's expectations are with this. Like, do they think they're going to get 800-1,000 fans to show up? I'd find that very hard to believe. Cool idea and if you're going to take a vacation, an all-inclusive is definitely the way to go (I myself just went to Jamaica last year) but man, this could be an epic failure.

Also, why is single double the price as double.

  2. wow lol

I get that they're following up on the weezer/paramore cruise idea but this is a much pricer substitute

If I'm going on vacation to Jamaica, the last thing I feel like doing is taking hours out of every night I spend there to listen to the same two acts. Two acts who's newer releases don't move me much. Middle class pass right here.

LOL at flights not included...that will likely be another grand, at least. All-inclusives almost always include flights.

Hanson is playing their event right up the street from them on the same weekend.

This does seem like an odd move. Maybe they just wanted to vacation in Jamaica?

i wonder if there are b-sides from the TW sessions

I think there are. I know Mark posted a clip of a demo that didn't make the album.

I'm fairly certain they've said publicly that there were not. Everything they demoed or recorded made the album.

thats a shame if not, S/T and HI yielded some great b-sides.

having themselves & Frank Iero play every night seems like a risky/lame move. I LOVE tbs and have seen them over 20 times, i'd probably consider them my favorite band, and even I don't think i'd watch them all 4 nights in a row. what Frank Turner is doing right now for his festival is cool, every nights a different set/show. Who knows maybe they will make each night different, but it would seem at least more enticing if every night was a different opener?

    also lol the prices

seems moot though because I'm definitely not going to go to this lol

I think they'll probably play a bunch of deep cuts. Maybe even full albums. They have the catalog for it.

Yeah I totally disagree. I would love to see 4 sets of TBS in a row and I think they will probably play lots of deep cuts.

I'd be cool with one night TAYF + WYWTB, next Louder Now + selection of New Again & Self/Titled, third night HI and TW, then fourth night is a mix of all the albums plus maybe some covers and collaborations.

Lol if you think Adam has the ability to sing any of the first 3 albums all the way through nowadays.

I would be completely cool with them only playing TW, HI, and NA or S/T.

Its just not the same anymore when they play stuff off LN, WYWTB, and TAYF. Which is heartbreaking bc WYWTB is my favorite from them.

Mine too, 100% a great emo rock album and the best from that year. The crowd on here feels differently about that album for the most part though.

Which is so strange to me, because when that album came out, I got an overall sense that everyone loved it. Plus those songs were amazing live. Always breaks my heart seeing negative comments about the album, but hey...it is what it is.

This is hilarious. I'm officially over this band. TW was underwhelming bar-rock....this "vacation tour" is the nail in the coffin for me.

Yeah, It'll be interesting to see how these destination shows turnout. Could either be awesome or completely embarassing. By far the smallest band I know of thats attempted something like this. I think.....IDK what other bands did something like this other than Paramore, Weezer, and 311.

If it's successful I can see other bands around the same level as TBS doing something similar. Good for them taking a risk. Will probably be fun either way for them.

Feel the rhythm. Feel the rhyme. Get on up, it's bobsled time. Jamaica, man.

Agreed. WYWTB is their best work. I think the break up with Nolan left a bad taste in people's mouths and for those people, they were going to hate it regardless.
