I'm guessing it'll be one of the venues they use for Localchella shows, just makes the most sense. And yea it's LA proper... I'm keeping my eye out for sure

 

You have Jack Antonoff to thank I believe. Not that she herself doesn't have a ton of talent, but I think Jack really brought out the best in her - specifically the things you mentioned above. And the way those drums kick in. I'm still taken aback by how much I love it.

Real jealous of the people in LA for this secret show. Deciding between her and Muse at Lolla is probably going to be one of the hardest music related decisions I'll make. Before Green Light it would've gone to Muse hands down, but if the rest of Melodrama is as good as the first 2, Lorde may actually take this one.

 

Really comes down to the fact that this is a really exciting time to see Lorde, much more so than Muse. If you wanna see Muse, get nosebleeds for one of their tours, it's not going to change too much (but they are fantastic live)

 

Ah yea see that's the thing, it's an established act vs. one of the biggest rising acts. And I'd actually be more likely to buy tickets to see Lorde on her own, but I'm kind of leaning towards agreeing with you.

 

Wish I could go, but here you guys go! Venue seems super random.

Man, I enjoyed Pure Heroine but kinda fell off for a while, but my girlfriend has become obsessed with Puddles Pity Party and his Lorde covers so I went to revisit it and saw two new(for me) songs on Spotify.

God. Damn. Green Light is weaponized catchiness. I am not worthy.

 

The three songs she played at Coachella that haven't yet been released from this album are PHENOMENAL. This is going to be such a fantastic record

I've been dying to hear this. Sober, Homemade Dynamite and Sober II are some of her best songs ever

 

"Sober II" and "Liability (Reprise)" are super duper intriguing
