The point is, rather than saying "this is what happens", one should say: "this is how we are different". Seems much more effective, because it doesn't imply judgement.

 

This was a really fun read. The crushing idiocy of Donald Trump

 

"Comedy Bang Bang" should disappear from the face for bringing this back up. Her whispering "The Jackal" at the end makes me itch.

More than anything, what I've seen is the failure to make a distinction between Comey as a person and the effect of Trump's actions. As in, what Trump did wasn't bad because Comey was good, but because of the consolidation of power.

edit: I would also say that a candidate stressing the past saying something like "THIS is what happens when we have whoever in office, THIS is what happens when people don't go vote" would be effective that's what I was trying to say all along.

 

I was never a fan but respected them, she told me she grew up with them and was like their sister so... Idk how they put up with that but whatevs

Unlikely. He maybe asked "ok so who do I have to fire to make THIS go away?"

How the entirety of political internet/reporting hasn't just become constant re-posts of Walter Sobchak saying "Shut the fuck up, Donnie, you're out of your element" by now is beyond me.

 

I throw that at him periodically on twitter. Try to get a "president Bannon" in there too for good measure.

 

The pictures from this meeting are so damn troubling for so many reasons, but one of the biggest things is that it really seems like he knows these guys. Like, it seems as though he knows them well. Those are not the faces of people who only recently met because Trump took office. I don't know, just how it feels to me.

 

I love The Outline. I haven't been on there in a bit, but their design and the stuff I've read on there I've enjoyed.
