Lol, I'm a big Bernie fan, but this actually happened to me a bit back. I read some backwards quote from Sanders, and I was like, 'wait. wtf Bernie?'. Turned out to be Huckabee Sanders. I could see many making the same mistake, too.

 

No way of knowing right now. At least one person on twitter pointed out connections between a company that GOP office uses and Trump's gambling businesses, but it's very 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon so I don't really trust it yet.

I don't take it as "this is what you deserve" I take it as voting for candidates that blatantly say that they want to hurt you and the things you care about has consequences.

But how much of it is transparency when most of his tweets are lies or personal attacks?

Take it however you want. The intent seems clear: this is something you deserve for voting republican. Louisiana went for Bush in 2004. Would you feel comfortable with someone saying this after Hurricane Katrina happened?

 

I think he's more talking about the bare-bones idea of the president frequently tweeting

 

"What's the President up to today?"

"Tweeting about Rosie."
