I guess if you are hayley williams and mewithoutyou is your favorite band you can just straight up put a mewithoutyou song on your record hahaa i'm blown away by this every time I hear it....like how did this happen? THIS needs to be covered in the interview today

i dont know why people are so confused about them being her favorite band... paramore came up in nashville, which is the hotbed of tooth and nail/solid state, which was incredibly popular in those days.

 

they used to always say how much they loved Underoath and stuff too

 

Not confused why she likes them just think it's pretty cool the label even let them put a song like that on their record. I've known she's been a fan for a very long time, especially since she is featured on ten stories

 

What's the mewithoutYou song on their? I'm not very familiar with them (I know I suck), so I'd kind of like to know the song before I hear the Paramore album.

 

I just wish his vocal would be a little bit louder. I would have LOVED to have Aaron Weiss shouting over these guitar tones.

This is a fun record. Riffs are catchy, I do like how moody it gets at times, I wouldn't have been able to do an entire album of Hard Times and Rose Colored Boy.

 

I stopped paying attention to Paramore ten years ago, but this album is fantastic.

 

Not to mention among their other influences: Sunny Day Real Estate, Jimmy Eat World, and At the Drive-In. They used to do that 'One Armed Scissor' outro during Here We Go Again.

 

You have a lot of catching up to do my friend.

I remember them doing this when I saw them 10 years ago. I'm from El Paso, but was in Houston for the show, and no one knew what Paramore was playing, which blew my mind.
